The month of February. It calls for one thing. Investigation. But you can't do that alone, out here in the cold, cold winter. A way one keeps their sanity is to keep it with someone. The City of London has proposed something. In collaboration with eMelody, the City of London has decided to pair people together, based on calculations (random number generators), who would work good together. This would promote some commerce and good fortune between citizens that may or may not meet without the aid of the eMelody company.

This isn't necessarily a date. You may be asked to do something with your partner, such as run an errand or provide patronage for a local business. ButweallknowAsulikesitwhenthingsturnintodates.

So. Take up this offer. If you do this, you will be rewarded with a payment of £100. You may even be rewarded with more... though not from us.



You know the drill! Sign up on this thread if you wish to participate. The deadline to sign up is February 7th. After that, sign-ups will be closed and the pairs will be listed off.

Your event threads will probably be in the Liquid, though it's possible for it to be in the Linear. If you do your event threads in the Liquid, label your thread with [EVENT] so we can take a look see and see if you deserve your moolah~

All pairs will be generated with a number generator. So be warned that there will be some crack pairs. This prevents me from choosing from my feelsbox.

You feel it. The sweat slowly falling from your brow, your heart pumping like there's no tomorrow. You are standing quite a while from your goal. There are many death-inducing obstacles along the way... and everyone is out to kill you. Or are they? And oh, there is a catch... the process of death seems to be humoring itself. You can die... but you have a chance to live again. And die again. Over. And over. And over again. It is absolutely essential you reach your goal alive. And of course, if we're going to make this interesting, we expect your mission to be filled with drama, convoluted action, and maybe a pinch of romance and passion to feed our urges. But remember this... Forget "you only live once." In the great scheme of things in this game of fate, you will be toyed around. Give fate a good game.

Well then, time to get to the nitty gritty logistics.

This event will officially take place February 1, 2, and 3. You don't have to go all three days, but it would be easier to get more rewards, no? All these times are in PST time, by the way...

February 1st : 4:00 PM
February 2nd: 4:00 PM
February 3rd: 2:00 PM

...Why the weird times? For my own convenience. Nope, so I can moderate this. And upon observation, these times are high times for the boards. These are starting times. Or at least estimated. Asunara Wisdom will call the game at those times on those given dates and will provide the link.

When you are provided the link, you are required to enter with the human name of the character you intend to use in the BGO. You can only use characters you have filled sheets out for on the boards. Meaning Asunara Wisdom cannot go running around being Roderich Edelstein or Wang Yao, even if she felt like it and has the power to. Or the Captain running around being the whole UK. That is frowned upon. First and last name, please. This will optimize the gaming experience and help us spin some drama.

After you have entered, play the game. The admin might end up yelling out something like "STRIP BGO" or "WHICHEVER PERSON IN LAST AT THE END WINS BLAH BLAH BLAH." The teams will be in pairs. If there is an odd number of participants, there will be a team of three... or a solo team if you feel that adventurous.

Oh, and there's rewards for this event. Every day you do this event, all your character accounts will receive £10... if you check in. You have to check in with the staff members during the game so we may note down your name. Money and rep points will be given out in discretion. It all really depends. If you entertain the admins/make them fall out of their chairs, you will probably have a good chance of getting pounds.

On this thread, comment below with your OOC name and list all characters you have. You can use one of your character accounts to do this. State which days you'll be able to attend so we have a head count. And of course... have fun, dearies~ You're all going to die.
