Hey everyone, it's important for the staff to know that you only change your account name AFTER you get accepted. With an RP group this big and with a small staff organization is the most important thing. so read this and listen. Current bans: Agents (this is a strict ban) Civilians

Click here to reserve a character!!
TITLE YOUR APPLICATION: "HUMAN NAME || NATION"
Quote the post to be able to get the code for the application - I would very much like it if you don't remove the credits. Don't put very large words under the basic information and appearance. One or two words is fine enough. If you have trouble filling it out, report to Captain. Not to mention, Captain warns people with characters with extremely long names - this template don't like long names. If the names are too long, change the font-size to 20px or something.
On an important note, characters does not need to be at their canon age, however make it reasonable. We do not want to see a five year old thrown out to the Russians or a 80 year old taking down a squad of snipers. | First Middle Last
Only a short paragraph about your character. Think of it as some sort of introduction paragraph about your character. It should fit in this little area given to you - like about this length of this that I'm probably just extending to it would look full. On the second thought, I need to add even more text so the stupid thing would look nice and full and that you know how much to probably type. Which is this much. |
CODE NAME: Code name here |
Personality traits go here in either list format with a paragraph of explanation for each entry, or paragraphs on how your character acts. There is a minimum of three long paragraphs about the pros, cons, and quirks of a character. In list format, have ten points, five positive and five negative with a paragraph for each. It doesn't matter how long the paragraphs are (but paragraphs are at least eight sentences long). |
Likes go here. There are a minimum of five things your character must love. Can be in paragraph or list format. | Dislikes go here. There are a minimum of five things your character must hate. Can be in paragraph or list format. |
Dreams go here. There are a minimum of three things your character must want to do. Can be in paragraph or list format. | Fears go here. There are a minimum of three things your character must fear. Can be in paragraph or list format. |
At least three paragraphs about your character's history goes here. Be sure to explain how they grew up and make sure not to put in other characters into your history unless you have consent of the person who RP's them. They can be slightly alluded, but that's about it. Also explain how they got their position in the present. You can use history to justify other things such as a character's hobbies or personality. |
Give us a sample of how you role-play your character. The sample must be at least three hundred words long and can come from any Hetalia Role-play just as long is that it is the character that you are applying for. Members of TND before the v5 upgrade can copy and paste in a post from TND. |

❖ The City of London Russia, Indonesia, Wales / Barbican Estate / Barbican Arts Centre Local Bratva Member Ivan Petrovich Braginsky attempts to cut in line to watch a show that he had wanted to watch for a while. Of course, that causes a bit of an outrage in the general public. One very guile man steps up and challenges the Bratva Member's desires. Mr. Braginsky becomes an acquaintance of Miss Adania Notonegoro, who also wants to get up in the line a bit. The pair are rescued none other by up and coming actress and singer, Miss Cerys Lewis-Kirkland. The starlet leads the two through a behind the scenes hallway, ready to go perform, and yet... when she finally gets backstage, she is greeted with an unpleasant surprise. Showbiz is a dirty business, sometimes, and it seems that the director had been bribed by her understudy to drop the star from the show for the night. She is dismissed and is left to go spend the night at the Barbican Bar to drink her sorrows with the rest of the actors that either got bribed out tonight or have no show to perform in. She overhears some news about Maximantics and frowns, knowing just a bit of information that might be of use. South Italy, Argentina / Financial District / The Shard Charming police officer Lovino Vargas has grudgingly accepted a mission to find the beloved Lady Elodia Fluffidy Gilda Pochi Ludovica Hana the III, Adela Barker's lost cat, who has a history of violence. Miss Lucia de Romero happened to be doing low-level police work and had encountered the poor Italian. They have a big adventure ahead of them. Norway, England, Romania, N. Italy, Germany, Singapore, Fem!Iceland, Turkey, Bavaria, Lithuania, Canada / Financial District / Maximantics Beloved politician Arthur William Kirkland has unwittingly offended Lukas Bondevik, earning himself a glass to the face. The young man storms off in anger and is quickly chastised by Labour Party minister and cousin Johanna Lise Sorrensdottir. Arthur is tended to by his coherts, Michael Collins (Mihai Chimet), Ludwig Beilschmidt, and Clara Huang. However, the group is interrupted by tremors from an explosion a floor above, confirmed by Mr. Collins to be of a bomb. That is the only explosion that has happened, and the flames will start spreading fast (in fact, at a rate of one floor for every post in written in the thread). It only seems lucky that the emergency stairwells are not up in flames (thanks to fire resistance). The group must quickly evacuate with the other soiree-goers, yet with the disabilities of Miss Huang being caught under a chandelier and Mister Bondevik's condition acting up. Will this group prevail? Bulgaria, Ukraine / Financial District / 71 Queen Victoria Street London public transportation is as crowded as ever as Doctor Marko Veselinov Iliev boards the bus. It has been a long day for Nurse Katyusha Chernenko, and so in a similar situation, boards a packed-as-sardines bus. A brunette girl is unconscious, and so the doctor, with a great heroic edge, takes action, ordering bystanders to call an ambulance as he works on the clock to treat the mistreated soul. Miss Chernenko calls an ambulance on these orders as a jerk of a bus driver yells "Of course she'll be bloody fine for God's fucking sake!" Doctr Iliev will not stand for this kind of treatment and stands up to the bus driver as a noble soul he is. The valiant Bulgarian stands up and does what is right. Belarus, Monaco, France, Mexico / Fortuna Magnus Casino / Felicionem Charta Fortuna Magnus employee and Imperial College London student Natalya Arlovskaya is caught up with the usual night rush of the Fortuna Magnus Casino, serving alcohols of various varieties. She notices her boss Christyna Grimaldi has thoroughly frustrated a man out of his money. Natalya warns her boss to be a bit more subtle, but in lady luck's fervent spirit, she will not back down without a fight. The social butterfly Francis Bonnefoy is currently gawking at Christyna's skill with the cards while looking for that special someone. Portugal, Macedonia / Guildhall / Guildhall Ahhh, Guildhall, where many have taken up requests for the betterment of the community. João Ferreira Henriques has taken up the Banjo Duel request and Vesna Kitanovska has taken up the Food Delivery request. Wish them luck! Ireland, Switzerland, North Ireland / St. Paul's Cathedral / St. Paul's Cathedral A dark plot has arisen at the seat of the Bishop of London. Organ smuggling and murders due to unstoppable bleeding have occurred in the holy place, and so our agents have decided to take a look in on it. Mister Donald Finn O'Neill-Kirkland causes an annoyance for his comrades, his twin sister Miss Aoife O'Neill and the "Chipper" Mister Vash Alois Zwingli. Mister Zwingli has been elected to be the decoy for logistical reasons, and so the mission begins... ❖ The City of Westminster N / A ❖ Kensington & Chelsea N / A ❖ Borough of Lambeth N / A ❖ Borough of Hackney N / A ❖ Borough of Southwark N / A ❖ Borough of Tower Hamlets N / A ❖ Outside of Greater London N / A |

If you have any questions, post here. We'll get back to ya. ❖ Applications Q: Where the heck is the app and all the things about the app located? This board is too big. A: It's big for us too. Here, human resources can help you. Q: About the 2-weeks waiting period, is it counted from the acceptance of our apps or from the date we joined the forum or etc? A: The two week waiting period is counted from the acceptance of the app, when you officially have the character you have applied for. You'll have to have that character for two weeks in order to apply for more characters. One character at a time. ❖ Logistics Q: So... This reputation thing... doing missions and stuff will raise our rep, right? A: Depends. If your mission was high-ticket, save-the-Queen-of-England, then yes, of course. You'll have your face plastered on every paper. But if it was something more underground and secret, like stopping a war that was brewing that no one has ever heard of, then nope. You'll probably get brownie points from your co-workers, though. Civilians also have rep, and also will get their rep raised with completing tasks for other people and being cool and such. Q: This mission is too hard. Can I give up now? A: Too hard is for the weak. But sure. Your rep will go down, though. Coward. Q: Do appearances affect rep? A: Why yes. If you look like poop, you're not going to get a very good rep. If you look, well, fabulous, you might get some brownie points from other people. Q: Why do I need rep? A: It'll determine if you'll get run out of town or not. It's important because of how other characters will treat you. You'll probably get more opportunities to earn some pounds if you had a higher rep. Of course, we encourage you try living life on the edge and break a couple rules. ❖ Setting Q: What's the year for this RP? A: I'll go ahead and say modern. Or maybe give us haf a decade more so we can have more technology. We're not in World War II times. Q: What if I can't find a thread for the place I wanna go? Like a bathroom? A: Because the board will be crowded and Asu is too lazy to make so many boards. If you do, however, travel somewhere where the board isn't, go ahead and tell us! We'll help make your location dreams come true! We just ask that you don't, like, go off to Helsinki or the Moon ; w; |

❖ Some notes about Mods NOTE: Please notify the Mods (via PM) if you would NOT like Mods to interfere with you and the other characters linked toward your situation. Otherwise you are giving us full rights to invade you interfere at any moment.Vice-versa, please notify us (via PM) if you WOULD like us to interfere with you and the other characters linked toward your situation. Otherwise you are giving us full rights to come and go as we please.❖ What are these lovely creatures. Mods basically help govern this universe. The Mods control the NPCs for ya, the shopkeepers, extra thugs... the stuff that makes you the main character. With mods, you can be rewarded random money, lose health, and cause random believable events to occur because random believable events make things more realistic. If you are creative in how you respond to a Mod's post, you'll be rewarded. If you're not creative, you'll have something bad happen. Which is pretty cool, actually. So yeah, we're rewarding your creativity because we all love creativity! We have to be unbiased, so stop bribing us. We're not going to screw you over, unless you're unwise and take the wrong path we offer you. We're using NPCs for the evil mischief, not our own characters. |

If you have looked to your left, you will see... we have a money system. The money system will become an important part of the roleplay and may be the difference between you dying or having the upper hand. ❖ Your money can turn into anything.
Like in the real world, money can turn into anything as long as you have enough of it. The conversion we'll use here is 1 pound = 2 USDs to simplify things so you won't have to go pull out the money converter. Pounds will be the currency used in this world. If you do end up travelling out of the bounds of the roleplay (as in, you end up hopping on a getaway plane to go to Norway), your money is magic and you can use it elsewhere... that makes sense? Well, let's try to avoid going to America, shall we? But yes, money is required to do things like enter places like a theatre or zoo, buy food or weapons, go on public transportation, bribe the information brokers, etc. Without money, you'll probably die struggle in the streets of London. The process in which you purchase objects is as follows. 1) You purchase the object in the roleplay by leaving a message like so: { Feliciano Vargas purchased A Plate of Pasta for £3 ! } The code for this is here: { CHARACTER NAME purchased ITEM NAME for £AMOUNT ! } 2) We staff are monitoring threads, but we don't read every single post. So it would be helpful if you posted in the purchases thread this: Alfred F. Jones has purchased A Burger for £20. Cha-ching~! CHARACTER NAME has purchased ITEM NAME for £AMOUNT. Cha-ching~! Simple enough, right? Your money counter will obviously go down. ❖ And you can find money anywhere. Well not exactly. I don't want you people to end up finding money on the ground all around you. I want you to go work for it, muahahahahaha. But yes, all character groups have a certain occupation, even the hobos (who will panhandle their way to a mansion... someday). Agents can have part-time cover jobs (it's actually recommended all agents have a secret identity and such), such as working at diners, the casino, and as mail people. They'll earn extra money from that. Civilians... go take normal jobs. Criminals have to swindle their way with bank fraud to get their money, so it'll be understandable if they're stinking rich suspiciously. But most of all, Agents earn their money from completing Missions, which will be talked about in the Missions thread. For work threads, you probably want to get in a few posts. Work the whole night, your hours, dunno. Be reasonable, though. On the Paycheque thread, you will do this: Wang Yao earned £20. Cha-ching~! CHARACTER NAME earned ITEM NAME for £AMOUNT. Cha-ching~! Similarly, you will be doing this in the thread you are working in. { Francis Bonnefoy earned £5 ! } The code for this is here: { CHARACTER NAME earned £AMOUNT ! } Now go forth and thrive in the world of commerce. |

when in london | | ONE CAN REALLY GET LOST IN THE BUSTLE OF LONDON. | London is a huge, huge city. She really is. With suburbs to casinos, tourist traps to underground networks, the ancient city is definitely one where you can get lost in. You are free to explore London... if you have the money. Of course, you can walk quite a long distance. Or you can go take the Underground, London's metro system. Underground is a pretty easy way to navigate London. Just make sure you don't get mugged. | WITH A CITY LIKE THIS, ANYTHING COULD HAPPEN | Even if London seems safer than, say, Rome, Italy, it is to be considered that you can be mugged and flash mobs can start. It is a city, and so random events like that must be expected. Strangers (NPCs) can offer you something good, or something bad. It all depends. From planned things such as concerts in Hyde Park, to the unexpected, getting roundhouse kicked by Chuck Norris on a street corner, London is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you'll be biting into next. | OUTSIDE LONDON | Now why would you leave this beloved city? Of course, you are free to leave via the aeroplane at any time, but it isn't recommended you do. From the airport, you can travel to places like Disneyland, Switzerland, South Korea, Australia... you can go anywhere. ....but why would you? | do as the brits do |

we all | | GENERAL RULES | Abide to Proboards rules One does not simply stress this enough. We do not allow adult content here. This means no graphic sexual scenes; no graphic sexual images. Break this rule once or twice, and we will remind you. Break this rule thrice and you can expect what would happen next: a ban of your account.
Respect Everyone here must be capable of giving respect to others. It simply does not matter if one is a staff member or not, this includes guests.
Plagiarism It is not tolerated on Tomorrow Never Dies. If we discover that you have stolen someone else's work, we will ask you to remove it. If you don't, we will. If you also read this far, put in your required item one your favorite color.
One Character Per Account If you want a new character, make a new account. Also no OOC accounts. We don't need them. Only staff get OOC accounts since we're doing mod posts. With the new quick switch feature on the bottom right of your internet window (first image with the two people), managing accounts is easier.
Keep it in the PM/IM's As much as we love a good drama, we do not want OOC drama to interfere with the enjoyment of others in the RP. We kindly ask for you to sort it out elsewhere. Mods are willing to help you too, so feel free to ask us.
Activeness It's understandable that one is unable to post a single day or log on every day. However, we kindly ask of you to try to keep with us if you decide to join. If you need to leave for a while, let us know by posting on the hiatus board. It is hard to keep track on hiatuses if you don't post there, so we only acknowledge hiatuses posted on the board. You have to update it monthly, unless you give us an estimate date of return. If you can't post hiatus/update it for some reason, you may ask other member to do so.
Activity Checks They happen every month and lasts from the 1st-22nd (any posts made after the 22nd count towards the check for the next month). This means one post every four weeks at the minimum. For more information about AC policies, click [Activity Check] on the Navigation links.
Account Names When registering and having your character accepted, please change your display name to the first and last name of your character, making sure to use proper capitalization.
Liquid Role-Play This is a liquid roleplay. Meaning your character can be in unlimited amount of threads at the same time. Please post your threads in the appropriate boards.
PG-13 This role-play is PG-13. As in no rape, brutal murder, or other terrible crimes to be narrated. Profanity, sex, drugs, etc that are not described in great detail is allowed... but there's that fine line. Sex is fade-to-black as always. I lied, put your favorite joke in the required item one instead of the favorite color. | ROLE-PLAY RULES | Characters We accept Canons, Nyotalias and OC's. However, no rivers, cities, provinces, oceans, planets, Narnia, Neverland, Albion, and anything of the like. Ancient civilizations like the Roman Empire and Ancient Greece should be discussed with staff first.
In Character If you are not in character during RP in IC threads, we reserve the right to discuss the matter in a PM.
Grammar Awareness You must be keen to the correct use of grammar, punctuation, and the literary devices. We are aware there are RPers who are not native English speakers, and RPers with learning disabilities, but an effort should be made to keep posts coherent (word usage) and readable (punctuation). Mods will be happy to help polish grammar if needed.
Racism Given that this is Hetalia we know there will of course be representations of ethnic conflict. However, we encourage you not to put ethnic or nation groups in your dislikes in your sheets when you do your sheet. We of TND do not endorse racism, ethnocentrism, or xenophobia of any shape or form. Make the issue a personal one, not an ethnic one.
Word Minimum Since we are a literate Hetalia role-play, our word minimum would have to be three hundred words - as in three good paragraphs. We understand that some days, it's hard to write up replies, but it is also hard to reply to a short post.
No Powerplay There's no excuse. As much as we all enjoy seeing our characters magically dodge every single bullet shot at them or predicting every single rule, it's not fair to others. Meta-gaming and god-modding are also included as not to do.
Killing You are allowed to kill NPC's in this RP. However it must come with a reasonable explanation and a small battle scene. Of course, you are not allowed to kill a person's character without their consent. If you have read up to this far congratulations. You now need to include your favorite number in the required number two too.
Reservations You can reserve two characters immediately. Put your reservation in the reservation thread. A reservation lasts for a week, and so does an extension. If you haven't finished your application in a week, you may ask for an extension or re-reserve later.
Applications You may post an application in the Pending Files board. Title your application in this format: Name || Country. You may post works-in-progress, but be sure to mark it with [WIP]. If you haven't heard anything from us after five days since your application's completion, feel free to ask a mod about your application's acceptance. Some applications need to be examined thoroughly and it may delay their acceptance.
Multiple Characters As stated above, you may reserve two characters without meeting any activity requirement.. However, in order to get a third character you must provide 15 IC posts for each character; which means 30 IC posts in total. If you want a fourth character, you must provide 15 IC posts with your third character, and a fifth character requires another 15 IC posts with your fourth character. You can have up to 5 characters. Lies once more, instead of writing your favorite number in the second required slot, tell us how you found our forum.
Reading the Rules Because before you role-play, you gotta read the rules, which you are reading right now. Good. Good. I unfortunately cannot stress this as we need to know that everyone know our guidelines and that if they get a warning for breaking any of them, they would know the reason why and claim that they just didn't know. Because ignorance is still not an excuse. | THE RULES OF LONDON | These are the fun rules that you probably should know about London. You don't exactly need to read these rules, but they're important in the roleplay.
Agent Honor Code You have to be 21 years old minimum to be an agent. As an Agent, you never involve a civilian that is not already involved in a convoluted case. Meaning you can't be asking civilians for help on cases unless you are simply asking questions. You can't hand a gun to a civilian and ask them to fight with you. As an Agent, you aren't allowed to give away your occupation as well, even to family members or lovers. In most cases, families never knew that their family member had worked in the MI6 until it's a bit too late, in which the MI6 sends the family a respectful written statement about the end of the person. If you reveal your occupation, the person is coerced into joining the MI6, you are excommunicated, given a new identity, and might be mind-wiped, or if you're that troublesome, you might be wiped off the face of the Earth, depending on the circumstances.
Researcher Ethics A Researcher must practice a sort of balance of ethics when it comes to the research they do and the weapons they equip their employers with. They must think about how much damage the person could do, and are the suffering effects ethical. Of course, you may be a bit sadistic and just decide to destroy things, but because of how much security is in London, even the smallest alley cannot hide the secrets of biological warfare weapons. Things like cloning and human experimentation is (usually) ethically off limits unless forms are signed.
Broker Neutrality Brokers usually filch on this rule and share with one side exclusively, but brokers are technically neutral in nature. But this doesn't stop people from one side preferring one broker than another. A broker usually shouldn't bar their services from anyone, but who said their services were known to everyone? Usually, brokers don't sell to civilians (unless you're a reporter). Selling government and MI6 secrets usually will get you quite a bit of jail time if anything. Do be wary of the consequences from either side. Who do you fear more?
Corrupt Yourself There are two types of politicians in this world. The corrupted by desire and the corrupted by money. And then you have those rare, pure and uncorruptable types. You are allowed to corrupt yourself. No matter how pure of a politician you are, there will be people waving money and power and you to get you to do their will and raise their status. It's your choice whether you should become corrupted or not. Even the kindest politicians have been corrupted before.
The Private Investigation Agency Oh, you want to start your own investigation and be a Private Investigator (the suave Private I?) Then start your own Agency! You get to wear your own brown cap, type dramatically on a type writer, and your office will be in the dramatic black and white film-esque presence. If you are an independent and wish to fight crime, you'll have to pick up cases from Scotland Yard. Police officers usually take requests from Scotland Yard, but Independents are welcome to take their pick, as long as you appear respectable and serious. If you want an agency, you need to assemble a team. This is very important, you won't be able to get a case if you forget. At least two other people. They don't have to be independents, they can be civilians, but the leader of said team needs to be an Independent, and you need to bring your team along and they must be capable of fighting crime. An agency needs someone to be a secretary and another to be the leader's sidekick. But all three of you are going out into the field.
Civilians Don't die and get in the way of gunfire.
The Families The Mafia isn't supposed to be that big in London. And it can't erupt to be that big. The cops are well-armed and trained and have destroyed whole organized crime families, but it is the smart ones that tend to stay in power. Organized crime tends to follow the structure of the Italian Mafia (sans a special Asian family that controls triad groups rather than heads them). You need to be careful, and need to be strong when facing said groups... | need order |

why can't you be a good boy | | IN THE DARK STREETS OF LONDON, THEY ROAM | The city is alive with a vibrant history, the boats on the River Thames, tourists everywhere, royal pride, and lost hopes and dreams. People of all kinds converge into one unit here in London. The students and the hipsters, the showgirls and the tourists, the dreamers and the professionals. And of course... the criminals. The lawless, disturbing the peace and inhabiting the dark underbelly of London. It becomes a problem when they rise to the beautiful silver lace to paint it red. | THEY LAY DOWN THEIR LIVES TO PROTECT HER | The Agents of the MI6 are there to protect her. Protect London, protect Britannia, protect the world. They are the intelligence service of the United Kingdom. They are a special kind of soldier that end your wars before they start, who hold their gun not to kill, but to get to their goal. Their agendas are unknown, their identities changing by the day. They thrive and survive on unpredictability and fear losing their own true identity. But all for the country. | THEY WALK AMONG YOU. YOU AMONG THEM. | What will you be doing in London? A variety of people inhabit the city, explore it, treasure it, vandalize it, protect it... what is your story in London? | and die |
