Let's get this party started | | STARTER’S GUIDE | Step 1
Read the Rules, as they will be quite important to your survival in London.
❖ Step 2
Read The Handbook. It'll tell you how this world works.
❖ Step 3
Go to Human Resources to register. Make sure to make a reservation. Work on your application (obviously).
❖ Step 4
Turn your application into the Pending Files board. It will then be reviewed by the staff and you will hopefully be accepted. Once accepted, your application will go into the Persona Files.
❖ Step 5
Make a plot thread in the Board Room. You may also check out other members' plot threads.
❖ Step 6
Change the name of your account to the name of your character.
❖ Step 7
You may begin RPing. Don't be afraid to use the General OOC Chat thread, we love commenters!

congregating into | | MEMBERS GROUPS | ❖ AGENT An Agent is someone who takes on the role of a spy and does work for the MI6. The Agent risks their life more often than not. Of course, not every Agent is the stereotypical field agent. There are many other jobs an Agent can have, which can be found in the Agency Fact Files. An Agent has to be 21+, because being an Agent is often fraught with the potential for death, and of course, it is frowned upon to send a minor into the field. You become an Agent through applying for it, or by the MI6 acknowledging you as a talented citizen whose talents could be used for the country. Since there are other sects of being an Agent, I'll list the following sects that might be of interest. If you do decide to be an Agent, I recommend you check out this list. Agents need to be specialized in something: - Snitch - You basically listen around and try to gather information. Info brokers are cool and all, but you can't always trust their info.
- Consultant - You're doing desk work. Whoopie do. Somebody's gotta do it.
- Runner - You're responsible with delivering messages in sealed envelopes. Very important job. If you die, destroy the message.
- Scout - You're like a watcher with weapons. Keep your eyes out for anything suspicious. Don't die.
- Operative/Field Agent - The real actiony stuff. You get a lot more attention in the spy movies. Dying isn't recommended.
- Fixer - You make your own spy network and are sort of above the average agent. But you still could easily get killed.
- Double Agent - You can die easily here. You infiltrate the ranks of the criminals, make them believe you're working for them, and make them think that you're spying for them and taking info from the MI6, and then you kill them.
- Sleeper Agent - You don't exactly do much. You are placed in various places and will only be used when needed. It's like a safety panic button. If they need you, they'll panic.
❖ RESEARCHER A Researcher, also called Searcher for short, is someone who obviously researches and comes up with cool gizmos, scientific medicines, and other science-y logistical stuff. A Researcher's life is definitely not in danger unless someone decides to bomb the lab. A Researcher is somewhat responsible for the lives of the Agents because it is the Researcher's gizmos that just might save them from dying. More rare, however, is a Researcher who is not on the MI6's side, but with the criminals, in which the Researcher is usually the one brewing addictives. Another path a Researcher can go is to be a Researcher for a corporation, such as Maximantics, which is pretty cool considering you'll probably get a lot richer than if you were a criminal Researcher or MI6 Researcher. ❖ BROKER A Broker (short for Information Broker) sells information. A Broker can take on many forms, from being a poor, slum kind of guy to the prettiest socialite. It all depends. A Broker has to blend in with society in a way that gets him/her info that is juicy. A Broker can maintain to be neutral and sell info to both criminals and agents, but many Brokers monopolize and end up selling to only one party... whichever one they fear more, really. ❖ GOVERNMENT These are government officials. Government officials enjoy butting into MI6 business. Many attend the fanciest of soirees, decide the heaviest of decisions, and end up symbols of United Kingdom. Some Government officials were known to be former Agents. ❖ INDEPENDENT The private investigators, amateur kid detectives, police, and mystery fans go here. They aren't directly affiliated with MI6, but aspire to fight crime. They sometimes get in the way of Agents. ❖ CIVILIAN Civilians do no crime fighting. They may know of MI6, but they aren't going to jump in and save the world. They're normal people living normal lives. Here are some ideas for jobs: - Butler/Maid - Clean and do simple tasks for richer civilians, or maybe for the richer criminal minds of the city.
- Bartender/Waitress - Work at a restaurant, selling alcohol, taking orders, all that fun stuff.
- Showgirl - Work at the Casino. You're the waitresses, the entertainment, part of the reason why the Casino runs.
- Librarian - Sorting books at the library, or even working at MI6 by sorting their always messy archive. Even Criminals are hiring librarians.
- Bouncers - Keeping thugs and underaged people out of the nightclubs and Casino.
- Doctors/Nurses - Always welcomed because people always tend to get hurt or choke in the middle of the night.
- Lawyer - Because even criminals need to be protected by the law.
- Perfume Shop Owner - Making the population smell good one bottle at a time.
- General Shop Owner - Selling goodies and schtuff.
- Weapons Manufacturer - Very important. You might end up having to sell on both sides.
- Cook - Cook stuff for money at restaurants, or you can make your own restaurant.
- Driver - Because we all love public transportation. You never know who you'll find next.
❖ LAWLESS Criminals, also called Lawless, do criminal activities either for money or for revenge. They do acts of terrorism, blowing up buildings, stealing from banks... the fun stuff that are against the law. Some gangs/mafia become successful enough that it's run like some family. There have been criminals that seemed to have a rich, high position in society. Criminals do a lot of things, which makes sense for there to be a lot of jobs: - Thug - Usually low on the criminal social hierarchy. Does the physical stuff like beating you up with a bat.
- Undercover Agents - They do spying for the criminals. Sketchy people, doing the dirty work.
- Drug dealer - Deals drugs and shrooms. A good drug dealer never gets addicted to their own stuff.
- Government Infiltrator - They become government officials and wreak havoc. Criminals need a way into government sometimes.
- Weapons Specialists - Guns and roses, man. Gotta know how to use things like that.
- Torture Specialist - Adept in the many methods of torture, from baking in an oven to acupuncture.
- Thieves - Thieves steal things, just like they've done for the past thousand years.
- Smuggler - Hauls stolen goods from boats and other transport-y vehicles.
- Pharmacist - Make drugs, poisons, and substances that you need to accomplish whatever you need to do.
- Assassin - Killing targets... which are people in the way. Sometimes Assassins go independent and kill when paid, or they side with a boss.
- Boss - The honcho of a mafia family or gang.
- Hitmen - The tank of the gang. They take down everyone against their goal.
