The Kiwi nervously trotted off behind the ..., he wasn't quite sure anymore now that he had gotten a good look of his/her face. The stylist's voice also had that unmistakable husk, leaving him hopelessly confused as he slipped back into the chair that had been uncovered and tried to relax. His eyes darted around the little booth, a brow raised at the horrendously large collection of horse pictures adorning the walls but not finding the need to comment on that, instead speaking up precisely what was weighing heaviest on his mind.
"Are you a homosexual?"
He didn't mind if he was or anything, but it was something he had to have answered immediately so he could focus on the next task, the inevitable haircut that he had been anxiously awaiting. If Wes hadn't been wanting to appear presentable he would have his finger up between his lips and gnawing away, but he only gripped his slacks tightly in his fists and braced himself. "Can you give me a trim? Not too much off the ends or anything, just enough that it looks neat and out of my eyes." With a little hand motion he tried to emphasize what he meant, wiggling his fingers a little nervously and setting them back into his lap to gently clasp them together.
"So if you would please cut my hair with these as well..." the boy added, motioning to the shears in his lap and awkwardly holding them out for the hair stylist to take. "Thank you~"

Sheepy Bread! The mystical hand sheeped recipe for the perfect cloud sheep bread
 Firsties we have one cup warm water and 1 1/2 tsp Active dry yeast.  Mix the badasses together in a leetle bowl! Then add some honey to feed the hungry yeast babies [you can add 1 tbsp sugar if you want to be boring, instead of the honey]  Then mix in an egg to the sweet little yeast mixture [without the shell yeah]  Pour in that yeasty goodness  Nearly there!  Now beat the shit out of it like it's a....a...Like it's a Kirkland.  After ten or so minutes when it's not uber sticky put it in a bowl  Cover up that dirty little bum with plastic wrap or a towel or something  Put it in a warm place and go off to do something interesting for a half hour.  Look at that fluffy face ;A;  Ooooh yeah  Now if you wanna do super hard mode split it in half so you can make cinnamon apple sheep bread too.  Get like...two wittle apple slices  Make them leeeetle pieces and add cinnamon  Sugaaaaaaaaaaaaar  Better  Dump it on  Fold it up and all, note the bread dough is uber sticky and supposed to be. This is why it's uber hard because you have to keep it from tearing and stuff.  HA Sheep is amazing  Dump it on, if you don't wanna do uber hard mode just make the rest of the dough into a ball and flop it on.  Egg with waterrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr  Miiiiiiiiiiiiix up  Put it in at uhhhh 375ish And now that you're waiting for it to cook...  Mix it alll together with some milk for fluff  Yummy omelette  Ooooh look how fluffy our sheep are...  Now to chop into it...  Soft chewy...and just warm...sheep bread...  With some honey...oooh!  And here's the apple sheep! And you're done!

The Nurse was horridly fetching, with curves he could trace from miles away and a face like the ones so meticulously painted onto a china doll. He fiddled with the straps of the oxygen mask, slipping it back over his head and keeping it in place with his hand. Honestly, a conversation with a pretty lady was the last thing he wanted at the moment, but it was the only thing about to distract him from the ever present pain of when he took a breath. The morphine was helping, but it wasn't enough to completely erase every trace of it. Anyways the television hardly had anything interesting on in the mid afternoon, just dull soaps that made him cringe with second hand embarrassment.
He settled on nodding in response to her question if she could call him directly by name, it wasn't really something that he minded and the thought that they even had to ask confused him. Then again, in some cultures it was rather rude wasn't it? Not here though? Ah...he was a little too woozy to know, pain medication always did seem to take away his concentration.
After a deep breath his hand sagged a little, letting the mask slip down his face so he could speak properly. "It's too early...." The words were whispered, slipping lightly through his lips as if he was holding them tight in his chest from fear that they would simply spill out.
"My brother is at work..."
Brother, it didn't feel odd to suddenly be calling Kyle that when it seemed to come so naturally, only when he stopped to think about it did the phrase seem so out of place. Yet...cousin just didn't feel right rolling off his tongue anymore. He just brushed it off, holding the mask back up to his face and laying back down against his stiff hospital pillow, giving a glance to Kat lazily. She was awfully pretty, his Mum was more so of course but still...
