Well, he could if it was a Serb, but for everyone else, Tomislav would have a hard time saying no if he genuinely felt the same for them. It would be an unlikely occurrence though, him being the one to steal someone's heart; it would be more likely for him to become enamored of someone else. He always finds himself fond of someone, although that has a tendency to be fleeting when he sees the object of his affection have a much better suited match appear or when the subject of his outside interests becomes unavoidable. Tomis got used to the idea very early on that no one is comfortable with a person whose career is ethically questionable or morally wrong, and that those of his own ilk still find that they cant wholly trust a person who sells to all parties equally. So, he ultimately gave up pursuing anything more than beneficial relationships with others or uneasy friendships at best, but it doesn't stop him from imagining what it would be like to go home to someone who he knows would always be there waiting for him with a smile and a hug. it will be easy watching you suffer girl, it will please me I •Nije zlato sve što sja• wanna touch you With my little finger I know it will crush you Tomislav loves making friends. If it was an Olympic sport, he’d more than likely always win a medal at it. That said, there are three levels of friend-zones he could place someone in that he varies his trust and loyalty to. Most of the individuals Tomi meets and becomes friendly with on a frequent basis are friends. Just that. He’s as loyal to them and at that stage avoids the occurrence of backstabbing any one person, gossiping about them or just be an overall prick to them. Friends, in Tomi’s opinion, ought to be able to trust him, even if he find he can’t wholly trust them, because well, they’re human and humans make mistakes. He does too, occasionally, but he puts in a real effort to be a “good friend”. The next circle of friend is comprised of those who he would call his “close friends”. Close friends have his loyalty as well and he’s still very polite and trustworthy in their opinion, but here Tomi can actually begin to trust the individuals that he’d consider himself close to. He can start to relax around them, speak a little more frankly than usual around them, and even rely on them to do things he can’t do or needs help with. The final level belongs solely to those who he finds to be worthwhile enough to be the family he picked and put together for himself. They’re people he loves unconditionally, trusts enough that he doesn’t mind getting angry at them when they mess up and would without a doubt risk his life for theirs with absolutely no hesitation. A variety of people can make up his friends—Tomis wouldn’t be opposed to anyone wanting to warm up to him, since he usually always tries to stay warm, even for strangers. my memory would linger you'll be crying out in pain begging me •Cuvaj se macaka kaje sprieda lizu a straga udarju• to play my games I could corrupt you it would be ugly they could The only reason Tomislav would find a reason to have an enemy, is if that individual came from Serbia and was not an ethnic Croat. Otherwise, it’s difficult to peg down the individual that would cause him develop a grudge and hang onto it for years. Although it would be fair argument to say an accumulation of his pet peeves into one individual will set him on the path of resentment and abhorrence, but for those people, the Croat simply avoids them after he starts to see the signs. At the very least however, the individuals he does not enjoy the company ever, never have to fear for their safety or well-being. Tomis may sell weapons, may make them, but in his eyes it’s still a sin to kill someone if it isn’t out of self-defense. That includes hiring someone else to do the dirty work, plus they’re far too expensive and Tomis would rather put his money to better use instead of giving himself the brief satisfaction of having an enemy taken care. Besides, what goes around comes around, and the Croat is a firm believer of the three-fold law. sedate you but what good would drugs be but I wouldn't touch you •Orah ima tvrdu ljusku• put my hands on your hips it would be too much to place my lips Clients, loyal patrons to the bar, acquaintances, all those who he has no particular opinion about such as the cashier he always goes to when purchasing his groceries—Tomis remembers them. He remembers them, their faces rather, and he'd of course always be willing to lend an ear or network if need be. He loves to socialize after all.
