[cs=3] Luzma pronounced Lu's-Mm-AH. If there was a way to describe Luzma it would be that her emotions can get the best of her. + Quirky: Luzma tends to have odd reactions, and tends to laugh in ironic situations, and will sometimes smile at simple things that normal people won't laugh at; conflicting, or awkward things also come into this category. Sense people can’t read her mind they cannot tell what she is laughing at, and will sometimes presume she is aloof, or crazy. Don't get me wrong she isn't sardonic or sadistic, she is just quirky. + Open-minded: Luzma doesn't judge most people. Her judgment is the less she knows about something, the less she should criticize it. For example: If you were to lie to her about something like your name, your hobbies, your past, or your present, or whatever... and she finds out you lied to her. She doesn't take it out on you, neither does she bring it up, or get mad about it; because she believes that you probably had your reasons for it. So she smiles at you and pretends she doesn't know about it. But she isn't a hypocrite she is just accepting. There is some forgiving side of her along with her open-mindedness. For example: If she has a crush on you, and tries to subtly let you know, and in response you reject her; she won’t take it personal. She figures it is only fair. “Aye, its life, sweetie...” she says. “Just like not everyone can like you, and not everyone wants to be your friend. You also choose who you want as a friend, and who you don’t want to be with. And just because they don’t want your friendship, it doesn’t mean they hate you, and I suppose that just because you don’t like him, it doesn’t mean that you would want to see him killed, Right?” + Calm: She's slow to anger, and she doesn't get frightened fast either. In fact she doesn't react impulsively to many situations. She likes to think things over before reacting. And if somebody was angry at her and demonstrates his or her anger she isn’t moved by it. She tends to keep herself level headed, and tries to see if she can discern why a person is angry although she can’t always tell. This trait is probably due to her Andorran roots. + Alert: This comes in hand with being calm, but it is most noticeable in dire situations. This trait in combination with her calmness, gives her the opportunity to think of options, even though it seems like things are out of control. For example: Let’s say her house was being flooded by water due to a bad storm, she won’t scream about it. She will try to keep electronics from getting wet by putting them on shelves, and will try to fix the root of the problem. Root= drain of the roof is clogged. If she can’t fix it she will think of an alternative. Alternative= sweep the water out the front door until the storm passes. This is only an example. +- Passive:This might not be the exact word, but Luzma will only cry, or feel fear, and on rare occasion’s anger, after a high stress situation is over. This trait is not negative or positive, it only seems that when under pressure, with the adrenaline running to the max, Luzma will be keen to make decisions, and thus will cancel out emotions until the worst is over. + Pacifist: Despite being a weapons dealer she doesn’t believe in violence, and only loves to fire at targets for pure sport. She believes that the value of a human life cannot be measured, and cannot be replaced. She doesn’t like the thought of killing, she despises it. Her pacifist side is sometimes conditioned though... if she is wronged in some way; she tries to let it go. If she figures it is not important and if she figures it will not affect her future, you’re off the hook. But if it's an important matter, she won't take it lightly, and she will argue about it without screaming. + Expressive: Is that the word? Luzma is more laconic, and will sometimes speak in a gleeful tone that stresses her “s’s” and “h’s” like if she were about to burst into giggles, and will smile like if she were hiding a very big secret. Luzma sometimes will try to hide her smile, but her eyes will still give her away, she tends to do certain gestures with her fingers and hands in a discreet manner which allows her to speak volumes without having to use her tongue. This expressive trait expands when she is extremely happy about something, and she will cheer openly and loudly about something she likes, or will wrap her arms around a friend she adores without invitation, or she will sputter phrases in Portuguese, Catalan, or French with a cheerful flair. She tends to be surprising when a happy feeling overwhelms her. +- Clever: She is intelligent, and if doesn’t know much about something, she prefers to observe, or ask about it instead of assuming. She doesn’t totally believe everything a person says she is aware that sometimes people change, and one day they will say one thing, and the next they will say another. She also is aware that not everything is the way it seems, and that you cannot judge a book by its cover. This trait can have its dark side, even though it is useful, she can sometimes have selfish thoughts about how to get something she wants, and achieve something for her sometimes dark desires. If she feels like you are in her way, she might try pushing your buttons, and try and figure out how to use you to her own advantage. This is something Luzma doesn’t like and when she realizes that her thoughts are taking a bad turn she tries to control them. - Selfish: This is a side of her that comes out when she is frightened, deeply troubled, or angered about something, and if she doesn’t control herself this could end up getting the best of her. Despite the fact that she isn’t scared easy, or angered easy (it actually takes a lot more to make her angry, than to make her scared); when caught off guard this trait almost prevails. When she is already moved by this feeling, she will speak her mind without thinking, will do whatever she feels needs to be done; and will not take other people's thoughts, feelings, ideas, and in some cases physical integrity into consideration. - Resented: When she is wronged, she will sometimes harbor resentment about it. She tends to hold it in her heart, until she can’t take it anymore and then eventually she will explode. - Vengeful: This is a side not many people see of her. But when emotionally stressed, and bitter with resentment about something, she can be dangerous. She sometimes will go so far as to plan how to hurt someone, only to come to her senses and save herself from madness. - Cowardly: Luzma tends to not let fear control her, but when she is extremely scared her first impulse is to run and hide. Her second impulse is to cry, another one of her impulses is to avoid the confrontation all together. Although she isn’t always cowardly, when she is already hysterical, you may have to slap her, or scream into her face to make her snap out of it. +- Fair: Sense Luzma is aware of how selfish she can be, she tries to think of others FIRST, and she tries to put herself in other people’s shoes, that way she can forgive them. This is how she manages not to do something stupid. This way of thinking sometimes helps her feel cool about little things that happen that could sometimes bother a person. This trait can backfire though, because life is sometimes not fair… Sometimes people are not fair, and sometimes people are incredibly crazy and selfish… so what can you do about these people when you run into them… it’s a small world out there.. So chances are you will meet them. | ||
Likes | Hates | Fears |
Jewelry: Big gems, ruby, topaz, opal, jade, etc. These are all very beautiful to her, big gems, square cut, or not. Small gems are also exquisite, and she won’t despise them.. but oh.. she prefers the big ones. Hair dyes: Luzma likes certain hair colors. Dark purple, bleached and almost White-pink, she also likes neon-pink, and a vivid/washed out strawberry-pink. She tends to piant her hair in dark purple that you almost think its Brown but you can’t mistake it. Dark Purple is her favorite. Temporary tattoos: They wear off after a few showers, and you can wear as many as you want. And apply them over and over again as many times as you like. How cool is that? Her favorite are roses, and flowers, near her left shoulder, right on her arm. Lush things: Feathered masks. Or none feathered masks. Leather masks. Furry accessories. Feathered hats. Fedoras: feathered and not. Top hats: with or without feathers. Lace gloves. Leatherd gloves. Sequins… Oh sequins! Certain things that sparkle like sequins, not everything covered in sequins is accepted, but a lot of things are. Clothes, gloves, masks, wallets, hats, these are acceptable. And if its covered in animal print, or lace this is also nice. Studded things. Oh my! You gotta prepare for Luzma’s ‘explosive gratitude’ if you bring her a studded wallet or something of the sort. It doesn’t have to use real diamonds, or real gems..as long as it looks a lot like the real thing and it sparkles. Come to MAMA! Firing at targets: Skeet shooting, clay pigeon shooting, or target shooting…Luzma has very good aim. Very good. So this is self-explanatory. Theater: This is in part due to her love for lush things, the costumes on the ballerinas, or the costumes the dancers wear in the theater, oh. So.. lovely. Accordion Music: One of the things she liked about France was the Accordion music. Classic interpretation. Or popular, folk or ethnic, these were wonderful. Cute people: She doesn’t mean the exterior, she means more in personality. If there is some small trait or attitude she feels or thinks is wonderful, or peculiar, she will try and see if she can make the person who possess this trait her friend. Of course she doesn’t let the person know what caught her attention. She would like: a body guard. Preferably a handsome one. One she could fall in love with. Yup. This may be stereotypical but she can’t help herself sometimes. She wants a bodyguard because she sometimes fears for her safety selling weapons. | Bullies: Luzma was bullied a lot sense she was a kid so this is self explanatory. Violence/Violent people: You want to kill somebody and hurt another living and breathing being!? Your stupid. It is very stupid to hurt somebody. Very stupid. Someone trying to take advantage of her: Although she doesn’t get mad if you lie to her, she gets angry if you lie to her, just to see how far you can go and get something out of her. If you try to use her, or manipúlate her for your dirty purposes, I wouldn’t want to be in your shoes. Overwhelming negative feelings: Luzma doesn’t like overwhelming negative feelings. She knows that if she allows herself to be moved by fear, or anger, she could do something wrong. And experience has taught her not to let herself be overwhelmed by bad feelings. Her selfishness: She doesn’t hate it, but she strongly dislikes the fact that whenever she is selfish that when most of her evil side pop's out. Arrogant people: Bullies… remind her of these people who think they are better than everyone else. If there is an arrogant or snobby person around, Luzma will keep her distance and ignore the person. But even though she avoids the person she can’t help, but feel her gut twist. | These fears are not constant, which means that they don’t bother her often, but when they do bite at the back of her head, and she can’t help it. Getting identified in public: Sense Luzma has concern for her safety she wears a feathered mask over her eyes, meanwhile she is working. She loves to wear such things, but she is a little afraid that one of her client's will recognize her on the street without it. Getting killed for her weapons: Her father had a few enemies in Andorra, jealous competitors, gangsters, and a few shadey characters were on the list; Luzma sometimes still remember’s the day her house and cellar were raided, and she and her mom huddled in the corner. Even though she is peaceful she knows that people will not hesitate to kill her for her weapons. Her family getting threatened or hurt, or killed, for her profession: She doesn’t always have this fear but she does get concerned about it. Helplessness: When she really can’t do anything about something that’s bugging her. She feels vulnerable, and she still doesn't know how to deal with these feelings. Sense she is aware of her lack of physical strength, she tries to compromise in hopes of achieving a better result. If she had a body guard she would fear: a) Her bodyguards family getting killed, hurt or threatened. b) Her falling in love with him, and him having to give his life for her. It would break her heart. c) Her bodyguard getting killed in front of her, she couldn’t bear to see someone die. Can’t take it. Falling in love: Now this is surprizing, but we all agree that love is an overwhelming feeling. It is not a negative feeling, but it is overwhelming for Luzma. She knows that once she has a really bad crush, she can barely keep it hidden, and she can barely control herself. The thing about falling in love is that she feels like she becomes stupid. Her thoughts get blurry. And she tends to stutter or say the most obvious things. Even though she tries to keep her distance, and she is aware of things she isn’t supposed to say or do, she can’t help herself, like if her brain wasen’t working. Or like if the butterflies in her stomach went to her head and were maneuvering the contols in her brain. She will sometimes become possesive over the person she likes, despite the fact that she knows it's not the best thing to do. So when Luzma feels she’s got a bad crush, she ignores the fuzzy butterflies, and she likes to go distance shooting. She pretends that all the targets are the butterflies in her stomach. She considers herself good at killing butterflies. It helps her feel better and get over her crush. With a shop to run, and many things to do, she doesn’t think falling in love is a good idea, because with butterflies in her head she can’t concentrate, or do anything properly. |

[cs=3] History |
[cs=3] Luzma was born in Andorra to a weapons dealer, and a costume seamstress. She had two older siblings; both were male, making Luzma the youngest and only girl. Despite that Luzma was the only girl her older brothers cared for her deeply, and were very protective of her while she was growing up. Luzma’s father was a cheerful happy trigger fellow, although he did have his temper he never attempted to kill anyone with a gun; he was more into the sport, and sold bullets and weapons. Luzma’s mother was a spunky sort, when she wasn’t cooking, sewing or doing things that mother’s do; she would take part in folk dances held in small villages in Andorra. She didn’t always partake in them, but every once in a while. Sense her mother was a very good dancer and she would often try to teach Luzma how to dance, and when not dancing; but sewing some costume for a school play. She would often let Luzma wear the oversized costume. Afterwards you would see Luzma wearing mama’s jewelry, and running around the house with shoes too big for her. She was always fond of her mother’s jewelry, and she was also fond of the color electric blue. Luzma’s brothers were into hockey and archery, but they did spend a lot of time studying. Luzma was still too small to learn any of these things, but her older brothers would take her to school and sometimes help her with homework, and they would let Luzma tag along on certain occasions. Luzma was an adorable, chubby cheeked, dark curly haired girl. As Luzma grew old enough to go to school she had a fragile physic and was a lot smaller than all the other children her age, but she had the explosive spontaneous character of her father. Thus her childhood days weren’t bad, but once it was time to go to junior high; her curly hair and baby face were gone, but she was still a little frail looking. Luzma ended-up becoming the shrimp of the class and mean girls started picking on her just, because she was not developed. Luzma didn’t know how to respond to the sudden mean behavior and sarcasm, and she sometimes would try to defend herself, but it was like if her loud and firm responses; seemed pathetic and amusing coming from a girl who was only 3 and half feet tall. Luzma decided defending herself was useless and she found herself having to keep her mouth shut. Despite this Luzma felt safe when her brothers would come and pick her up from school. They were taller and a lot stronger and she would run and shield herself behind them, whenever school was over and they were there, they would remind her not to listen to the bullies, and she felt safe from the taunting of the crowd at school. But fate took a turn, it was around this time that her father’s business was flourishing, and her brothers had decided to take advantage of the moment and went to study out of the country. They knew that they were going to have to work still to earn money for a room to rent, but their father would sometimes help them. Luzma was worried about them leaving, but she didn’t want to stop them from going. So, she tried to remind herself of all the things her brother told her: ‘Ignore the bullies’, ‘don’t try and fight with them because it doesn’t help’, ‘if they try to hurt you, hide behind the teacher, or go and talk to the principle, even if the call you a tattle-tale’, ‘good people don’t go around hurting other people, and just like you don’t hurt others, don’t let anyone hurt you’. Once they were gone, Luzma felt without protection, but at the same time she felt like if they were still there. But at some point the bullying got pretty bad, she would cover her ears to prevent the jeering form her classmates, but she couldn’t help it. Luzma wanted to change schools, her father was tired of hearing her whining and told her she had to toughen up, and ignore them; her mother on the other hand was considering the option, Luzma knew she couldn’t spend school hiding behind teachers forever, either she faced her bullies or ran for cover. One day full of desperation Luzma decided to make friends with one of the tallest people in the school. The boy had a lanky build, and he was kind of a loner, he was not bullied, but his quiet and serious demeanor made everyone else sort of fear him, but only sort of-not exactly fear, but no one wanted to talk to him. He was around 6ft’ 3in’’ tall, and he had speckles that only made him look more serious, and there was always this intense look in his eye. Luzma tried talking to him anyway (despite the fact that everyone else got the creeps when they were around him), he was not exactly talkative but not rude either. Luzma expected to make a friend out of him, and if she was lucky enough she would be able to hide behind him, or use him as an excuse to ignore the bullies in the background. Her plan worked after a few weeks of trying hard, she was able to make a friend out of him, and as long as she was around him, the bullies would keep their distance. Luzma ended up finding his company enjoyable sense he was quiet nice despite his off putting demeanor. Of course this plan didn’t work out for too long, a few weeks before school was over, Luzma’s ‘friend’ caught on that Luzma was only using him as a shield for herself, and he withdrew himself away from her. Only afterward did Luzma understand what happened, and that he overheard her talking about how she was going to use him as her shield if she had to. So this time Luzma was alone. To fend for herself. Luzma suddenly found herself complaining to her mother and only then did she realize the error of her ways. Yeah of course she was being bullied, but she should never try to use someone just because of protection.never. Using people for benefits, NOT friendship is wrong. Luzma realized she had to not let her fear carry her away, or else she could do more harm to others and to herself than do good, because of her selfishness. She felt guilty. But she was not going to let her negative emotions drive her again; neither was she going to use anyone again. She would protect herself instead. She figured that if she practiced dancing it would make her skinny arms a little stronger, of course she knew she couldn’t change what she did at school, she figured she would fess up and ask forgiveness although she knew, he would probably not accept it. Well she couldn’t blame him, whatever happened after that, she figured, she deserved it. It was around this time that Luzma’s father began to teach her how to hold firearms, and began to teacher her how to shoot like a pro. Luzma was 16 then, she was a little stronger and she could hold certain weapons, but only certain, she still couldn’t hold a carbine that well. Luzma began to find the sport enjoyable, and Luzma had good aim, very good aim, but Luzma wanted excellence. So she tried her hand at several sports, including clay-pigeon shooting, if the target was moving, it was more relishing being able to take it down. Luzma was even starting to consider her future as a weapons dealer, the business made a reasonable amount of money, and people paid good money for good weapons. But Luzma soon learned that not everyone shoots for sport… Some gnarly men raided her house and took many weapons form the cellar. Luzma was barely starting to learn about repairing weapons that day, and she was just taking some guns down to the cellar before bedtime, when the men stormed the house. Luzma and her mother were forced to huddle in the corner of the house, meanwhile a slightly drunken man was watching them, and made them sit still with the tip of his gun. They ended up running with a reasonable amount of guns, and only took certain house items, not everything. Luzma’s father had gone grocery shopping so when Luzma’s father came back he found the house a mess, and he found Luzma and her mother in tears. A few weeks later some of the gangsters who stole the weapons were captured, and a few of the stolen weapons were found by the local authorities. Luzma was starting to rethink of her future as a weapons dealer, meanwhile Luzma’s father was frightened by the episode and decided that it was time for the family to move. Luzma’s uncle was living in London, and he had begged her father to come several times, so Luzma’s father decided it was a good time to go. Besides they would be closer to her brothers who were studying in the university nearby, and Luzma’s father would leave a great deal of enemies behind. So the family moved to London, London was a whole lot different from Andorra. The food, and the culture and the people were different. Luzma couldn’t help but feel intimidated by the tall buildings, the huge city, the cloudy days and the noise. It was a lot quieter in Andorra. Luzma felt vulnerable. She was tempted to carry a small pistol with her at all times, but she shook off the idea, she knew it was a stupid idea, but she was afraid. Luzma wasn’t a wimp anymore though, she had grown stronger, and her limp for was a little more curvy, she was also able to carry small carbines and rifles, and she had also grown a foot and 3 inches taller. But she did love the sense of power it gave her to hold a weapon in her hands, and the respect that came with it. Well it wasn’t respect it was more fear… but still. To be able to shoot a bullet near a person’s face without even hurting them just to watch them shiver in fear…she liked it. The power it gave her, the adrenaline. Luzma shivered those thoughts off. She knew she was still bothered about the men, who raided her family’s home, but she wasn’t going to let those negative emotions transform her, she never wanted to be like those men... If she felt vulnerable, she was going to be calm and smart about it and learn how to survive in the new country though observation, it couldn’t be hard. Luzma’s high school years went by fast, sense Luzma spent most of her time observing and learning, she was able to get rid of the vulnerable-ness she felt, and she began to get comfortable. Despite that the family had adapted Luzma’s father had taken up a job as a mechanic instead of selling weapons, and would fix cars and certain machines. As soon as Luzma graduated, she didn’t know if she wanted a professional career, but selling weapons… was she sure? Most of the previous stock was hidden in the basement and her father had a license for his weapons…A career would mean more studying, but in the end she would have the money. But that terrible raid… she didn’t want sometime bad to happen to her family. Luzma went to get applications for college, mean while she mulled her thoughts over in her head… she was filling out several forms... name, age, address, and number…when she envisioned herself as the grumpy lady in the desk…No. She didn’t want fear to control the rest of her life. If selling weapons made her happy, then that’s what she would do with her life. She walked over to the shredder in the open office ahead of her, and stuffed the papers into it. All the while being watched by a stunned secretary, Luzma earned herself a license for selling weapons and opened her shop a few days later. She gave herself a nickname and decided to be called Zuri by her clients, and she would wear a mask over her eye area, to not be recognized in public. She loved masks anyways and figured, it was worth her protection, and her family’s. She knew that evil people wouldn’t hesitate to kill her for her weapons. |
