PROLOGUE, Forever - alone, the odd one out, mysteriously youthful yet (mentally) old man, Kiku Honda is a man of little words. A Japanese inside out, his first impression towards others would be boring, dead guy, and he knows this. His lack of expressions leaves everyone, even his family, baffled. But deep inside, he's as bubbly as a kid on Christmas. You just have to push the right buttons to see it...

FRIENDS, He wished for a few close ones, because he believes in quality, not quantity. He never really sought for a friend, nor did he was sought for. He only wished to just find someone, anyone would would listen to him, and GIVE him advice, as he always had done so to everyone else. He asks nothing from a friend, nor does he have any preference in one. Though he would appreciate it if you weren't a criminal or any of that sort, because he only looks to live his life normally.

ENEMIES, Kiku doesn't really like to make enemies, nor he expects anyone made the enemy. Though he doesn't really like it when the hard work he put in being the leading inventor in his company got taken by someone else, especially if they don't deserve it. It takes a lot to get under his skin, but once you did, or if you harass his friends, expect an invention that will trigger your trauma switch.

LOVERS, Of course, stable relationships comes from friendship. What does he looks in a woman? A Nadeshiko Yamato of course, though he knows that it'll only be a wishy - washy request on his part. He doesn't expect himself to be in a relationship in a man though, but since love comes in different forms, he'd give himself a chance to accept that part of him.

Alfred and Kiku

So I feel like we should plot these two. I know we don't necessarily have to go based on the series (since this is quite obviously an AU), but I really like the dynamic between the two in the series. I like the idea of Kiku being the straight man and Alfred being the goofball, and Alfred trying to get Kiku to loosen up while Kiku provides the balance and gets Alfred to sober down when things need to be done.

...how they'd meet each other is a different story (if it helps, Alfred's a cop who likes poking his nose where it doesn't belong XD), but I would be interested in pursuing something with these two.

We should probably plot. Though Kiku works for Maximantics, it would be cool for Vash to get a better weapons supplier since there are apparently budget cuts in the MI6 and a Scot giving Vash useless weaponry. Their dynamic in the series is cool, though we don't have to follow it.

Alfred:
Hmm, I had a headache to figure out their meeting for this one XD . Maybe if I get Kiku to go out on a convenient store (to get his hands on sweets or something), Al was there too, getting some donuts for his night patrol (or anything). And then Al starts to mention about himself, and when he starts to mention video games, Kiku got interested and everything clicks from there.

What do you think?

Vash:
Since he's a banker, maybe I'll direct Kiku to a bank and they can meet there (?). And when Vash asks where does he gets all the money from (I don't know if I'm going OOC for Vash on this), I'll have Kiku lie and tell him that he works as a lab assistant for a certain unnamed inventor (though maybe the lie will probably be known soon, he is an agent after all, maybe he has connections/files/whatever).

Or if you have better ideas, you could always share them~

I can only see them as business partners at the moment. But who knows, maybe Kiku has the ability to be his friend later?

But, since it's night (on Kiku's perceptive), so I don't know how to bring him there....

Because this friendship would totally make sense.

Anyway, being serious here - I would see that these two have at least some sort of respect for each other. They're both old compared to everyone else and not to mention they work in labs - no matter how different they may be. If Iain would have any chances of leaving the lab (I need to make a portable HQ or something), I would like to see them have some sort of geek talk on building stuff.

That sounds like a plan to me! The wonderful thing about Alfred is that all we need to do is find a place for them to meet and it'll take off from there. Alfred will talk to just about anyone unless they weird him out, and I don't think Kiku would do that.

I think I'm gonna use that donut idea too. =P Shall we drop them in a convenience store or something?

Well, you could drop him off at a convenient store somewhere near Cromwell Tower then. But when you post there, pretend that Kikuʹs already there too, as Iʹll make him go there at the same time as Al. Then weʹll just see how their interaction goes~

Or I could just double post in Cromwell Tower to get Kiku into a convenient store, then Al can jump in.... Whichever floats your boat...

Hmm, how about if we make them already an acquaintance? Maybe prior to this, they had already met at a convention of researchers or something, Iain was interested in Kikuʹs things and they had each othersʹ number already? After a brief meeting (hope so) with Al, maybe Iain decided to call Kiku to be his drinking buddy or something?

Oh that would work. Like a researcher's convention. Of course, Iain would be really secretive about his line of work. The only thing revealed that he's a researcher that also works as an inventor. But of course, that sounds like a good plan on having Kiku on his phone already and calling him for a drink - of course, that might be rare since Iain would hardly leave the lab until I get another researcher to take his post.

But yes, I like the idea of them already being acquaintances.

Linh and Kiku:

Asian power! ff anyways, it seems like these two are by far the most 'mysterious' and 'reserved' of some of the Asian characters. xD And, in this setting, I can see them getting along--assuming Linh can stop being herself for ten minutes and get along with anyone. Linh just generally doesn't like to associate with people unless it involves her work, in which she forces herself to get over it and adapt. But I think, if these two cross paths, I think they could at least enjoy each others quiet company, maybe enjoy a few intelligent remarks here and there (remarks because neither of them are really ideal conversationalist xD) who knows. Feel free to throw out some input and I'll force Linh to be social!

Well, Linh can always be herself, and let Kiku do all the intro that he can. He is reserved, but he could be polite to any strangers that he finds on the road too (minus the one that suddenly glomps on him, she freaks him out... XD) . Well, I could imagine Kiku listening to Linh novel reviews, and Kiku really needs to find a way to relax (being a hikikomori in his home isn't a healthy way to spend your free time... XD).

Yes, these two are so similar natured in some ways, I could see them becoming friends in due time. *gasp! Linh? Friends?* Or, at least, doing friendly favors for each other like him improving her weaponry and her giving him some decent company, especially if he just needs someone to listen. Considering Linh's personality and her line of work, I'd doubt she'd want to keep Kiku as a friend, but hey, you're her roleplayer, your call~ Kiku'd definitely willing to improve her weapons, *coughatapricecough* . He'd need that decent company considering he's alone in his lab for God knows how long... XD He'll probably talk life somewhere along the lines too... Hmm... Yeah, I think they can become friends...~ (I hope so~ XD)
