PROS:
Passionate: Mei can be very passionate and understanding at times of hardship and will do anything of her power to help make everything better.
Strong-Willed: Like other strong-willed girls Mei isn't the type that gives up easily, even when the odds are against her.
Positive: Her attitude towards everything she does is remarkably incredible, at times of hardship she will always look for the bright side of things , because that's what she believes.
Cheerful: Her cheerful-happy attitude at a glimpse describes that she is a normal teenage girl, but that's only her cover to hide her dark past.
CONS:
Smart-Mouth: A bad habit that Mei learned when she was young from boys near her neighborhood, even though it has gotten her into trouble many times she enjoys it and says it's a talent.
Selfishness: Hard to believe but Mei, is probably the most selfish girl in the world, she enjoys getting the best and keeping everything that is to her liking.

Cherry-pie: The only food in the world that Mei Actually likes, it reminds her of her mom baking it for her when she was young.
Rainy-Days: The last happy days that she spent with her family, the sound of it soothes her and her worries.

DISLIKES:
Shy-Guys: Mei has no interest in guys who can't speak their mind, she says they are weak and is not worth her time.
Red: The color that started it all, shes seems to hate anything of this color or any color that makes it up.

BACKGROUND:

Mei was born to a rich family having her father the right-hand man of the president and her mom being an international model she got anything and everything that her little heart could desire, there for spoiling her. Like every fairy tale about a princess living in luxury there must be a tragedy, when she was 6 a group of men snuck into her house and killed her parents including the maids and butlers that worked there. Luckily for her, she only escaped with a scar on her left leg. Alone in the streets, Mei was beaten brutally by her dad's enemies and all those that she tries to approach until one day where she was adopted by a bounty-hunter. Years have passed and with each passing day her father trained her to be a first-class bounty hunter. Having been to busy with her training Mei quit-ted school at the age of 9, disregarding all her friends and those around her. After 11 years of training Mei's dad passed away, not knowing what to do next with her life next she spent the rest of her days following her father's foot-step: being a bounty hunter. Her latest job is here, where deadly secrets is following her with every passing step.

Hello, I’m Joselle, one of the mods of this forum.

We don’t have a history of declining applications but unfortunately, I have to say that we will not be accepting this application. There are a couple of vital errors that resulted to the declination of your application.

The first waving flag was from the layout of your application. There must have been some sort of miscommunication—or perhaps the application had so many codes that it became confusing. Under some other circumstances, this would have been forgiven, however the weight of the verdict lies heavily on the content of your application.

Secondly, you did not read the rules prior to completing the application. There are supposed to be five negative and positive traits in the personality section. Your app falls a little short on the pros, and most definitely lacks in the cons. In addition, there are supposed to be five points in Likes, Dislikes, and Fears. The reason we do this is to dissuade the conception of shallow characters. It is very hard to find any appeal in characters that lack personality.

Now, moving on to her history. To be very brief, she seems to have a pretty ‘Mary-sue’ background. That kind of archetype is mostly evident in Mei’s initial wealth and status, in the part of the apparent and violent tragedy, and in the fact that she became a “first-class bounty hunter”. I mean, eleven years, I suppose, is a generous amount for anyone to excel in if they practiced, but Mei was 9 years old for Pete’s sake. If she had quit school and from that point on lacked social interaction from the age of nine, Mei should not be so ‘poised’ as you described. On the contrary, her personality should be much, much different for it to be realistic. I mean, the apparent badassery that bloomed from such a 'princess' with a melodramatic childhood is very, very hard to take in without the proper explanation. Everyone was killed and Mei escaped with just a scratch—really? And then she became adopted and can kick ass now? I’m sorry, I just do not see much light in this from the very little works and descriptions you have given to us.

All in all, there is not enough substance in Taiwan’s character to make her believable or ‘in-character’. While she does wield the cheerful traits, everything else is pretty much a dead-end. The whole point of applying for a character is to make them believable, realistic, and unique with all of the charm of its actual country. With that said, I suggest that you should do a bit more research on Taiwan and touch up on your grammar and writing before you try again. Please message me if you wish to edit this application in case you still want to re-reserve Taiwan and try once more. You have until January 29th to reply.
