Close friends is another topic--though he considers most everyone equally his friend, naturally he has those whom he trusts more; the ones whose houses he'll go to at 2 A.M. for TV marathons or game-playing, the ones he'll openly whine to about someone who's been particularly mean, things of the sort. Though really, anyone is welcome into Yong Soo's circle of friends--if they can put up with his carefree and often careless attitude long enough. ENEMIES: As many friends as he has, he probably has the same number of enemies; the ones who can't put up with his boisterous personality, the ones who dislike his achievements, the ones who, for all intents and purposes, are just major douchebags. This goes from the whispering behind the back to outright hostility and avoiding one another. Yong Soo isn't the one to mingle long with his enemies, with drawn out arguments and potentially fist-fights--he much prefers to avoid them all together. It's not particularly easy to become an enemy of his, but neither is it particularly hard. Basically, the rule is, if you're pleasant enough to him, then he will gladly reciprocate the favor. Be rude, however, and consider yourself as good as given the cold-shoulder. GETTING TO THE HEART OF A DISCUSSION — ACHIEVING AN UNLIKELY ROMANCE. LOVERS: Ah--yes. And we have the all-important question of love. Yong Soo is a romantic, very much so, with shelves stocked full of romance novels and dramas from his own country. He likes to sit on his couch and sigh over them in his free time, and he isn't exactly resistant to the ideal of finding a significant other of his own. In particular, Yong Soo fancies himself as a charmer--and he can be, to some degree, if he tries. He usually has no trouble snagging the attention of a lady or gentleman in the early stages of a relationship, but most quickly tire of his absent-mindedness and how easily he is distracted. Due to this, he hasn't really had a long-running, successful relationship. Yong Soo is also very much a "traditional" lover, so no one-night stands for this one. What he's looking for is a devoted relationship, so don't go looking for hotels quite yet. Be soft, be sweet, be able to put up with him, and you've got a guy who will shower you with affection. Ada ~ Soo

They can go watch Winter Sonata or Boys Before Flowers together ahem, seeing these two adore Asian drama series, I'm thinking a scene when Ada accidentally finds out Soo watching drama with deep passion. Or that he's a gamer she's been playing against for few times.

Depends on the turn of events, I think they can be close friend, or close mentor-student relationship~

@ada: Yes that sounds perfect. Instant friendship let's do it. Ooh--I'd be fine with that. I think it's really cute to have a student/teacher relationship where they have more in common than just academics. I know that we have a semi-work-in-progress idea for creating a thread for internet interaction and gaming, so if that happens we could always have the two meet there. Not that the drama idea doesn't work, though that would probably have to involve Ada getting into his flat somehow.

I definitely think a close friend and/or student-mentor relationship would be cute. Soo likes the idea of being able to teach and protect someone, after all~ |D

We've entertained thoughts of Soo and Peter having played games with each other as well, assuming he doesn't mind playing with a twelve-yea-old. Peter certainly isn't picky about who his teammates are as long as they're fun and interesting. 8u

Hmm, good question. Alfred's still relatively new to the London area, though he's been in town for a few months at least, I'd say. I don't think they would have had time to be become best buds, but they could have met already if you want. Or we could play out their first meeting. I'm up for either one!
