Dearest members, The end of year is upon us, and with that, our beloved forum is reaching its second anniversary. Tomorrow Never Dies has gone through several changes: members coming and going, new muses accepted and dropped -- and also several board updates. This month's updates are: ❖ RULES It's been awhile since our rules have been last revised, so we've looked over them again to bring them in-line with the way we have been conducting business. This means that we have removed mentions of liquid-linear role-play (see below!) as well as money. We are also now implementing a minimum post count needed before member can reserve a third character. The two first characters are free, which means you may reserve them immediately. But to get a third one, you have to provide 15 IC posts for each character, 30 posts in total. This is in order to ensure that people who want multiple muses can be active with them. You can read more changes here. You may have also noticed that we've added a couple of rules to the Activity Check. Since we feel that our lax ACs have been working out for most of us, we wanted to find a way to keep that working but also be able to distinguish those muses that are being used and those that are not. Due to this, the updated rules now state that you can only have 3 consecutive hiatuses for a writing block, and that if you do not make the AC in time and do not declare a hiatus (but still want to keep your character/s), you must submit additional posts for the next AC. ❖ NO MORE LINEAR THREADS All liquid threads from now on must be posted in location boards - the ones used to house linear threads. Soon we will move all existing IC threads out from the liquid boards. Tomorrow Never Dies is now a full liquid forum, so there is no need to separate the location boards and liquid roleplaying boards. If you have a thread in linear boards and wish to continue it, please contact us. ❖ DECEMBER ACTIVITY CHECK Because December is full of finals and family gathering, we decided not to have an Activity Check this month. The regular AC will resume on January 1st. Posts made from December 1st onward can be used to pass January Activity Check. Now you have a free time to do: ❖ SECRET SANTA We have 15 participants signed up this year. The gift giving will start on December 24th 23:59 PST. In the meantime, go craft your gifts and spread the holiday spirit around the world. |
