Take a line from anything and everything you want and put it into this: ackuna.com/badtranslatorSet it to 35 translations and let the good times roll! Ah, but what is a bad translation without a little challenge? After posting a translation I think people should write a small drabble and somehow incorporate that into the plot. to make things easy for people, you don't have to post one immediately, just take one you have an idea for and roll with it. Original text: "In the end, the Prince took out his own heart and sealed the Raven away by using a forbidden power. Just then a murmur came from somewhere, "This is great!" said the old man who was supposed to have died." ...35 translations later, Bing gives us: "Finally, a good router, and Grimm, Prince of Kestrel. My mood. They killed the elderly"

This looks fun! Let's see what it does with a couple of lines from The New Colossus.
Original text:
"Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, the wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed to me. I lift my lamp beside the golden door."
...35 translations later, Bing gives us:
"The poverty in the rain and thunder sent the notice of the fact that the Golden Gate Bridge. Street lighting."
(Some of the intermediate ones were pretty awesome, too. To wit: "Give me your tired, poor, crowded masses, yearning for freedom, let your junk to poverty and homelessness. Send the homeless into the storm. I brought my lights next to the Golden Gate Bridge.")
