His smile is contagious and he is always trying to improve the mood. If you're just not a complete, awful douche bag, there's about a 99.9% chance that you'll get along with him great.

He is flippant however and hates to be involved in any sort of negativity, so there is a chance he might just try to shove it all away and forget about it. But really, who could hate this lovable oaf?

Steve just isn't a serious person, not to mention he makes a living getting down and dirty and has no problem with it. Peter loves just about everyone in the Kirkland family as long as they aren't an asshole. Steve is the perfect example of someone that isn't an asshole. Therefore it can be expected that they will get along great. Peter still has the potential to be an annoying brat, but as long as Steve at least convincingly acts like he enjoys having Peter around he won't have to deal with spiteful, bitter, angry, pouty children.

Are we still making them cousins? If so, maybe they should be like cousins on the opposite side of the family as the Kirklands, since I didn't have Alfred related to the Kirkland family as a whole by blood. So, since it said in the app response thing that Steven is likely related to the main Kirkland branch as a cousin, Alfred can be his cousin on his mother's side or somethin'.

Anyway, these two would get up to all sorts of trouble together. I see Steven as almost being like a brother from another mother to Alfred (which, if their mothers are sisters, it's close enough XD).

Frankly, I think Steve would get along well with all of his family except maybe Arthur, but it's an au so all that's really there is conflicting personalities so who knows. Steve and Cerys should definitely hang out at the BBC tower cause frankly, he'd probably be lost there since that's only a part-time job.

Steve and Donald need to find some sort of common sport and play it on the weekends cause Steve doesn't really have anyone for that right now either. And yes, they need to have some sort of family reunion/weekend thing because who wouldn't love a threadfull of crazy Kirklands? xD
