[cs=3] If one word could easily sum up a human being’s personality and cover absolutely every detail about them, then Antonio’s word would be “Passion”. A lover of Spanish dance, cuisine, literature, and all around culture, Antonio is very patriotic and traditional when it comes to his home-country. He’s a warm-hearted Spaniard who loves to see people smile and believes that the rest of the world deserves to be as happy as he is. Antonio is hard-working and has the will to push through, even if whatever assignment or job he is doing begins to slowly wear him down. ‘Because that is the way of passion,’ he tells himself. Tonio is rarely spotted without a smile on his face. He’s a cheery and very loveable oaf, not to say he doesn’t have his more “down” moments every once in a while. Not many have really lived to tell the tale, but it is said that, after downing a couple hardcore drinks, Antonio can get pretty… frightful. Fortunately, no matter how much the Spaniard enjoys his fine wines, it is very seldom that he ever gets tipsy in the first place. This is why so few have seen this side of him. The only main thing that ever really bothers Antonio in life is to see his friends feeling down. If he ever encounters someone who is depressed, angry, or just downright stubborn, he will always make it his mission to turn that sour pout into a beaming smile. Sometimes he goes a bit far, but Antonio never seems to notice nor take a hint that some people may find such “help” to be rather unwanted. Because he may sometimes say the wrong thing at the wrong time, it isn’t all that uncommon that people view Antonio as insensitive. However, this isn’t true at all. The smiling Spaniard is simply oblivious to the atmosphere of a room, and doesn’t realize that what he’s saying may be offensive, or inappropriate for the situation. This leaves him feeling confused later when he doesn’t understand nor realize why people are scolding him, or questioning why he said or did what he did. Antonio doesn’t fret too much over this, however, and it isn’t long before he’s completely forgotten that people were ever frustrated with him in the first place. Most people just drop the idea, and instead decide that perhaps “ignorance is bliss”. Another noticeable point about Antonio is, when he finally gets down to business, he can talk to you very seriously. It’s just not often that he isn’t out in his own, smiley little world. | ||

• Children || And no, not in that way! Antonio has always been fond of the little tykes. From the time he was fourteen years old until his nineteenth year, Antonio worked at a daycare as a part-time volunteer after school. • Dancing || What is life without the beautiful flamenco? Back-to-basic traditional folk dances are both pleasing to the eyes to watch, and even more pleasing when dancing them, yourself. Antonio grew up with a passion for dancing to Spanish guitar, after his papito bought him one for his tenth birthday. • Spanish folk music || As stated above, after Antonio was given his very own guitar for his birthday, he never parted from it. He even took lessons from his father, a famous musician, to learn to play on his own. • Bull fighting || Despite being seen as a rather morbid sport in other countries, the bull fighting tradition is still a flame that burns brightly in Spain. Antonio’s father would often take him to shows, and it wasn’t long before Antonio grew fond of bull fighting. In his mind, each show told a story; a story where grace and beauty triumphs over the blunt evil. • Literature || Antonio might not look it, but old-fashioned Spanish literature is something he’s always been a big fan of, since he was a child. Growing up in his family’s house in Madrid, Antonio had an entire wall of bookshelves in his room, dedicated to books he actually bought out of the library. Unfortunately, he couldn’t take all of these novels with him in his travels to England, and Antonio had to part with much of the collection he had gathered over the years. • Tomatoes || Back home in Spain, Tonio’s whole backyard was a giant garden of which he and his mother raked the fields and planted as many seeds of different flowers and edible vegetables as they could. Many of the vegetables were put into homemade salads his mother later made after the veggies were ripened. However, every once in a while, Antonio would sneak into the garden late at night and stash a few tomatoes in his room for himself. | • Disobedient children || No matter how much Antonio may adore caring for children, one thing that he learned from his experience working at the daycare was that… well, little kids have their bad moments as well. He’s still got the battle scars to prove it, too. • Modernization || Technology and cultural evolution is all fine and dandy, but if Antonio could, he’d go back in time to a point where no one ever had to worry about the old popular traditions of Spain going obsolete. The back-to-basic folk music, dances, and culture was something that always fascinated him. • Smoking || Antonio has never been very fond at all of people who smoke around him, particularly people he’s familiar with who know he doesn’t like it. He feels the overwhelming stench of the cigarette smoke is disrespectful to those around you, and he finds those big cigars to be the absolute worst example of that. • Sharing his food || To be honest, Antonio never likes sharing his food, because he feels as though it is then limited to himself. Call him stubborn, but he doesn’t like to think about having a smaller amount of food for himself as he didn’t have much growing up. He wolfs down a lot of food in the privacy of his own home – but he certainly eats with more sophistication and manners in the presence of others. • His friends’ anger or sorrow || As stated before, whenever one of his friends - even strangers around him - are feeling down, Antonio is always the first one by their side, trying to cheer them up. He doesn’t realize that sometimes his concern for them and their wellbeing may be delivered unwantingly. | • Any of his close friends’ disloyalty || Antonio has always been loyal to his friends and right by their side if they want him or not. He’s always been a shoulder to cry on, but Antonio rarely opens up to anyone around him, himself. The few people he has told his secrets to, he has always feared breaking his trust. • His friends leaving him || As he is afraid of his friends breaking his trust, Antonio has also had a big fear that one of his friends would leave him for someone else. It’s for this reason he’s sometimes seen as clingy and a bit of the jealous type when it comes to friends of his friends. • Being left alone || Also in ties with the first two fears, Antonio’s biggest fear is of his own loneliness Antonio may not show this side of him, but he is actually a very anxious and paranoid person. He will constantly run through his head the worst possible scenario before the best one. This is seldom seen by any of his friends, since to most, Antonio is known as the most optimistic one among them. |

[cs=3] History |
[cs=3] Antonio grew up as the rather average only child to a rather average family with a rather average fortune. Tonio wasn’t very privileged in his childhood, as his parents weren’t poor as much as they were simply broke. However, Antonio’s family never pressured him, oh no. They showed him just as much love and affection as he deserved, but rather, Antonio pressured himself that he needed to find a way to earn some money for his parents to get what they deserved. Antonio took two part-time jobs and didn’t spend much time at all in school, no matter how much his parents insisted that his education came first. And this was only by his fifteenth year. After spending the next four years of his life saving up all his money, Antonio came back to his parents, insisting he was ready to finally give them to life they always wanted. Antonio’s parents refused, however. They recognized Antonio’s real dream was the travel to a distant land, as learning about different countries and cultures of the world was a passion Antonio relished himself. Most of his books were about the other countries in Europe. Belgium, Italy, Germany, and most of all; England. They told Antonio to spend his savings his way, on something that interested him. That is why Antonio dropped everything and used his own money his way, and travelled to London, England. In his short time in London, Antonio heard much about a suspicious agency called M16. His interest in the group lead him to do his research about them, which later got him into nothing but trouble. He hadn’t realized doing a little snooping would put his life at stake, and Antonio was given a choice by the director of M16; join the agency or wind up with absolutely no protection of his own. It was in this situation that Antonio hadn’t much choice – if he refused, surely he would have nothing standing between himself and certain death from any villains that M16 was familiar with. It was for this reason that Antonio joined the agency, without even the slightest clue how to be some kind of spy. From the time he was 21, Antonio worked in the agency in the best job they could associate himself with at this point; a snitch. |
