ANNOUNCEMENTS |
❖ Staff Changes Unfortunately, we have lost some great people as of recently. Captain, Missy, and Misso are no longer staff members. However, if you do see them ever again, do give them a big thanks for all they have done. I (Asu) personally do not think this place would have floated without them. They've been a huge part of what makes the boards today, and for that, I am quite grateful. Give them a big thanks and a hug. However, it is quite certain that the show must go on, and so please welcome Lena, Worldie and Derp as new staff members. If you have any concerns about the boards, you are free to voice them to Lena, Worldie and Derp, they will happily take care of things for you. ❖ Lights, Camera, Action! Keeping with the theme of the board, we are going to try to direct things in a more... actionous direction. Some staff have already started some open threads that encourage action, such as here and here. These are open threads without any class requirements, so anyone is free to join in the fun and add to the chaos (or get in the way of saving people, whatever is your taste). Besides this, someone has decided to take up a mission. Please wish Westley Walters-Kirkland good luck with his task of delivering lobsters. Mission threads are free for anyone to post once the original mission taker has responded, so when you see it as appropriate, go ahead and jump into that thread, which you could find here. Other missions are currently in the works, being rewritten in order to encourage more action and less slice-of-life (not that we don't enjoy a sweet slice-of-life now and again), and there will be a variety that require different classes or bar others (but don't let that deter you!). Also, as you may have heard, some staff have prepared an arc that has been talked about to other members. This is the Turf War (fancier name pending) between two crime organizations, the Italian mafia lead by the fearless Sera Russo and the Russian bratva lead by the intimidating Ivan Braginski. There will be a thread to plot for the overall arc, so please keep your eyes peeled for that. ❖ Communication We encourage anyone who has a problem or suggestion to contact a staff member. After all, it is much easier to address an issue when we have knowledge that there is an issue. There will be a board set up in order to encourage member-staff communication. You can tell us anything, such as ideas for the board, problems you think that are hindering the board, suggestions to make the board better, etc. We don't bite, and we really would like to help you. That's what we're here for, don't let tomorrow die ;w; ❖ Of the Months We have unfortunately not been up to date with this, but with more help on board, that poll's going to be up soon. Please vote for the next OTMs: male and female here! If you win the title, remember there are rewards as well! Additionally, if you have a character for the badass title or a member of the month you would like to nominate, please PM us! ❖ Activity Check Make sure you get your Activity Check done this month.
