For Christyna, even a night of simply relaxing was a nice change of pace. As much as she looks out for her establishment very seriously, it's nice to catch up with plenty of other things.
She even has to admit that it's nice to walk around the streets of London, enter a fine, snazzy establishment, and simply have a seat to enjoy the live performances. Ah yes, that is simply one of the finer points in life. She needed a good balance of excitement and tranquility.
She was sitting comfortably in her little seat in the little corner, with a little cup of her snazzy drink sitting on her little table. She immersed herself with the music being played, enjoying every moment of it with her eyes closed.
Classical music was very fine, in fact it was her favorite genre of music. However, jazz was something that was more... free to her. Taking music lessons before, the princess knew that one does not simply make music by playing a bunch of random notes together in a way that it sounds pretty, but there's a formula to it, a system on how one goes about to make music.
Jazz, while they have a same basic structure, had always found a way to improvise more notes in such a expressive and free-flowing way that she too enjoyed it... Perhaps even envied a little.
There was the slow plucking of the cello that started the tempo for the music. Soon, the percussion was added to it, to speed up the song even more. However, it was a complete st when the harmony and melody were added to it, a piano with another accompanying it. While two pianos would have sounded accessive, there was nothing overpowering the piece all together.
And that what was truly amazing about good music.
