どうもありがとうございます Isn't it a good day? This sunny day was perfect to stroll around the streets in her lolita outfit, but Megumi had a job to do so the outfit must stay in her closet. The job was an outdoor photography for new dresses. She expected the session would continue until late night like the usual, but the photographer said that the Japanese was free to go just a bit before lunchtime. She took this opportunity to explore Sloane Street by herself; this chance won't appear again soon, she thought. Megumi stopped at a nearby cafe for a simple lunch and a glass of ice tea. Where should she go first? There were so many high-class shops along the street, but sometimes it's good to look at the less expensive ones. Those shops sometimes have a really good stuff that she could buy for a slightly cheaper price. On the other hand... Pucci just launched their new collection for this season. She had seen the catalog online and she knew there were some items she really wanted to own. The woman understood she couldn't have all of them; she wouldn't eat anything but instant noodles for a month if she insist to purchase them all. After she finished her meal, the model walked to the Pucci Outlet, eyeing the display to search the desired items. Once she spotted a ballerina shoes, Megumi entered the store and tried it on. It looked so cute on her feet, it even matched her shirt! But there was a long skirt that would be perfect for hot summer day. There's also a cute purse. A sunglasses. A blouse. A bracelet, a hat, a pair of wedges, a t-shirt... Megumi really wanted to buy them all, but she didn't bring her credit cards and the money in her wallet can only afford for two items maximum, or else she wouldn't be able to return to her home. Heck, she even wouldn't be able to buy lunch tomorrow. This dilemma was really going to ruin her day...

Maybe Feliks couldn't afford to actually buy anything at a place like the Pucci Outlet, but he still very much enjoyed taking an hour or two to wander around and admire the place and its merchandise. Sure, his outfit (today, a blue V-neck shirt with white jean shorts) looked distinctly cheap when surrounded by the fancy clothes for sale, but he definitely wasn't here to look at the clothes he already had. Much more fun to fantasize about the (probably never-to-come) day when he might be able to wear the light, lovely, ridiculously expensive things that comprised the summer collection here. And if people looked at him oddly for being the poor man in a store for the rich--well, who cared?
In his wanderings through the store, Feliks spied a rather pretty woman, by her appearance probably Japanese, who appeared to be sorting through a number of the items that Pucci offered. She had probably ten things, and looked a bit troubled. Rich? Probably, at least rich enough to look seriously at these things. The young man did wonder, though, what was bothering her.
"Are you going to buy all that?" he wanted to know. Inspecting the pile from a slightly closer distance, he found that she had some very nice-looking things in it. "Good taste."

どうもありがとうございます Deciding which items that should return to their display rack was rather difficult. Pucci was very popular and Megumi was sure this store would run out of these items in few weeks. She looked at the items in her hands, contemplating to ask the store clerk for some advice. However, she felt they only would persuade her to purchase the most expensive item, or worse, all of them. Going alone to a clothing store was not a good idea, she would be a lone prey for these so-called salesperson... "Are you going to buy all that?"Megumi blinked and glanced to her side. A blond man was standing nearby, eyeing the pile of selected stuff from Pucci in her hands. "Good taste," he commented. "Ah..." the Japanese felt a bit embarrassed, thinking that she must be looked so greedy by taking so much stuff at once. "No, no, I'm not going to purchase them all," she muttered, quickly returning a shirt she had been holding - it was much more expensive than the other. If she was lucky, that shirt would not going anywhere until the year end sale, therefore she could buy it at a cheaper price. Megumi looked at the blond. He didn't look like a clerk, and the clothes he was wearing was rather simple and modest. Being a model, her eyes were keen enough to know whether an outfit was made by an expensive brand or not. She was sure the cheapest item in this store was still more expensive than his whole outfit. "I'm just a bit... confused," the woman continued, telling the blond stranger what's been bothering her. "I like all of them, but I can't afford more than two items." Megumi showed him the ballerina shoes she took first from the rack. "I really want to take this home with me."

The Japanese woman looked slightly flustered and quickly put a shirt back, assuring Feliks that she wasn't going to buy everything she had in front of her. Feliks felt a little bit bad about that. He sincerely hadn't meant to embarrass this woman with his question. After all, he was something like the equivalent of a curious tourist here: the man without any particular degree of wealth in a store that was unequivocally meant for the wealthy. The goal was that he would observe and interact with the exotic place and its inhabitants, the Higher Socioeconomic Class, without causing any harm.
But the woman was confessing to the source of her trouble now: “I'm just a bit... confused. I like all of them, but I can't afford more than two items. I really want to take these home with me.”
Ah, so she wasn't absurdly rich or anything. The man found himself smiling; this looked like a fun conundrum. He hoped that this could be an easy, friendly encounter. No awkwardness or embarrassment necessary for anyone, just some fun conversation and an eventual solution.
“I can totally help you pick, if you want!” Feliks offered. “I'm Feliks, by the way. Feliks Łukasiewicz, but you don't have to try to pronounce my last name.”
He looked closely at the pile of fancy items, not even remotely self-conscious over the fact that any one of those things could have bought what he was wearing three times over. “If you like those slippers, you should totally get them,” he mused aloud, nodding to himself. Everything here was just so very nice, and he was decidedly envious of anyone who could afford even just one or two items.
There was no bitterness about it, though, just a wistful feeling. “I don't think anything you pick would be wrong,” he commented. “So no pressure. Whatever you get will be great.”

どうもありがとうございます Megumi's eyes widened. "Really?" she blinked, but the man looked serious about his offer. "If it's not much trouble for you, then sure you can." The Japanese bowed slightly. " I'm Megumi Kudo. Pleased to meet you, um, Feliksu-san." She was about to say his last name, but Feliks was right; it's hard to pronounce without making her bite her tongue in accident. Usually she wasn't one who accepted help from strangers easily, however Feliks seemed like a good man. Megumi couldn't help but feeling a little curious. He didn't dress himself in branded clothes, yet he had good eyes keen for style. Maybe he was just a fan of high-end stuff or a fashion blogger. He also could be someone who worked for a major clothing line. Nodding to his suggestion, the model separated the ballerina flats from the pile. Now that's one item. "I think this one will not be outdated even until next year." She then eyed the rest of the stuffs, eyebrows furrowed in deep thinking. Her hands began to take one item at a time and returned them to their respective shelves. Sorting them based on how many of said item she already had at home was a good idea. Eventually, the only things left were a long skirt, a sunglasses and a bracelet. That is definitely the problem, she thought, replying to Feliks' comment in her mind. Megumi wanted to tell him that, but that'd make her sound pompous and arrogant. She was indeed a model, however that didn't mean her wallet can afford every items that looked good on her. So she managed a polite smile and said, "thank you. Now that I've sorted them, I only need to pick one." Megumi touched the skirt; it's really soft. "Ah, by the way, pardon me for being curious. You look like really familiar with fashion. Do you work for a clothing line? Pucci, maybe?"

So the woman was named Megumi Kudo. It was a nice name. That, together with how she addressed him, confirmed Feliks' suspicions that she was Japanese. He had never been addressed as "Feliksu-san" before.
One part of the decision was made, with the nice slippers that would have a long life. Megumi rushed about, putting most of the things back; she had apparently decided against getting those. Soon, only a few things were left: a long skirt that seemed rather flattering, a pair of sunglasses, and a bracelet.
"Ah, by the way, pardon me for being curious," the Japanese woman excused herself. Feliks waved it off with a smile of recognition; he was fairly curious himself, even if he did like to keep his own life rather private. "You look really familiar with fashion. Do you work for a clothing line? Pucci, maybe?"
Feliks laughed and shook his head. "I just like this stuff," he explained. "What looks good, what doesn't. Making decisions about that. It's fun figuring it out." It was entirely true. This was a hobby, nothing more; if she asked what his profession was, he would of course tell her that he was a hairstylist. Part of his mind was already planning to add something about honing his talents for figuring out what made people look good.
He now inspected the three remaining items. The skirt looked particularly nice; Megumi was handling it, and seemed to find it pleasant to the touch. But then again, that bracelet was lovely as well... Feliks checked the price tags as discreetly as he could. They were about the same price.
The sunglasses, meanwhile, looked a bit odd. Feliks picked them up and looked from them to Megumi's face with a critical eye. "You might want to pass on these," he suggested. "They don't seem to fit your face very well."
