He's probably been around the whole campus by now. He retraced his steps several times, looking high and low. He even tried to look places he hasn't been in a few days, just in case they somehow wound up there. He wasn't sure why they could be there, but there was still a chance they could be there. And what might be the item he was searching a bit desperately for? His car keys. This was probably the seventh time this month he lost them, only twice did he have to go to such lengths to find them. He already tried to search his car to see if he left them in there, but the car being locked made it pretty hard to do so.

He flopped down in a chair, trying to resist the urge to slam his face into the table. He was in the library yet again, though now taking a break instead of practically tearing the building apart. That's an overstatement, of course, but it probably won't be for very long. He sighed softly, running a hand through his hair. He didn't even know how long he's been searching, but it was long enough. He just wanted to find his damn keys already, but how things are going currently, that didn't seem like it would happen any time soon.

'You'll never find something when you need it, only when you don't need it...' he thought, crossing his arms. His parents used to say that to all the time when he was growing up, but even now he didn't really believe it. He was a bit annoyed, that he would admit, but there was no reason he shouldn't let it get to him. He just has to stay positive and hopefully everything will be fine.

He got to his feet, figuring that now was the best time to get some sort of help. He wasn't going to go and beg everyone he saw, he wasn't that desperate...well, yet. He was slowly getting to that point. He looked around before walking up to someone who seemed around his age. He's seen her around but hasn't really talked to her. She seemed nice, so it couldn't hurt to ask her. "Uh, hi. I know this might be a little awkward since I don't really know you, but can you help me find my car keys?"

Lucille had been having a rather unpleasant time staring blankly at the pages of her archaeology textbook when an interruption presented itself. She wasn't at all bothered—in fact, she was rather relieved by it. She thought she might actually get a bit of reading done in the library by deliberately removing herself from the laptop, but progress had been unbearably slow and she could feel her eyes glazing over from the twenty pages of information she'd painstakingly tried to absorb. At least she'd mostly caught up and would be up-to-date for the next quiz, but she was itching for some form of diversion. It was just her luck that one so aptly presented itself.

She looked up towards the speaker, trying to place his features. He'd stated that they didn't really know each other, but he seemed vaguely familiar. Then again, she knew many faces around campus, and if he was in her same year, it was likely that she'd seen him around before. Either way, he'd asked her nicely enough, she was looking for a distraction, and he looked pretty cute at that, so she saw no reason to deny him what he'd requested.

"Sure, I'll help," she said with a small shrug of her shoulders. It wasn't as though she had anything better to do. Might as well help out some poor unfortunate soul; it was preferable to trying and failing to read her archaeology text. She stood up and did a cursory scan of the area, looking for a glimmer of something that might be keys. A few stray pens and paperclips lay around the floor, the remnants of other students' attempts at study, but there was nothing that could be taken for keys. She arched an eyebrow at the newcomer. "Did you drop them around here?" she asked. "What do they look like?"
