Outgoing: He loves putting himself out there and trying new things. Whether it's trying new food or going to start a new case for his job, he goes out and does it, enjoying every second of it. Social Butterfly: He finds no problem to socialize with people. Of course, if he wasn't, he wouldn't get very far in his job. Being a conman does require being a people person. Being an introvert would get him no where, so to speak. Charming: He knows exactly what to say to people to get them on his side. He can talk almost anyone into his favor, while staying on their good side. While in a bad situation, he could try to use this skill to his advantage, though it would depend on the situation if it were to work or not. Melodramatic: He tends to be over the top at times, overreacting to the smallest of things. It's his theatrical talent trying to find it's way to the surface when not out on the job. Playful: "All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy." He loves joking around, whether it's verbally or physically. He likes to play pranks, but he makes sure they won't end up badly for the other party. Serious: He knows when to cut out the joking and wipe that smile off his face. Otherwise, people would think he was playing around. No, if you want to get stuff done, sometimes you have to push emotions aside. It's for the better. Suspicious: He has to be suspicious of others for his own good. Anyone could figure him out and alert authorities. Or, someone from the past could recognize him and try to get something back from him. Dreamer: He thinks big, always wishing and hoping. Of course, these dreams would probably never happen, but they were nice thoughts to have anyway. Short-Tempered: He has a short fuse, one that's always fast to ignite. When he gets mad, he shows it right then and there with full force. He does try to hide his anger when out doing his job, but it doesn't last for long. His anger is also quick to fade, so he does come off as a bit moody. Manipulative: He can talk people into doing almost anything. He makes his words nice and sweet, coated in sugar. He doesn't make it too sweet, since people would catch on if it were. He adds just enough sugar so people get hooked and keep wanting more. In no time, they're wrapped around his finger. Deceitful: No one should believe a word he says, they'll never know what's true and what's false. Best you can do is assume everything is a lie, even if it does sound honest to God. He doesn't have any specific actions that shows he's lying, he learned to quickly hide such signs. Trying to make him slip up is no good, since he would use that game against you. Cruel: He may seem care-free on the surface, but deep down he has a heart of stone. If the job was acquiring something then disposing the person, he would take it up. Usually the only people who hire them for that are heirs of some sort, sometimes even people who are expecting something big from their parents' wills. He carries that job out like any other, not even turning away for flinching when he lodges that bullet in their skull. Be cautious when hiring him for such a job, because if you try to rip him off, you might end up the same way. Despite his cruel nature, a few things can turn him "human" for a few seconds. Protective: If there's someone he's working with, or someone he's just generally fond of, no doubt he would try to keep them out of harms way. Even when he doesn't intend to, it just happens. He's just looking out for them, but if they don't take his advice he won't go to outrageous lengths to save them unless he was really attached to them. Compulsive Liar: He doesn't have to think of lies, they just come out. If anyone tries to catch him in the act of lying, in hopes he would say something contradictory or let something slip, they can keep trying. He keeps track of the lies he had made automatically, not once discarding them in case a topic is brought up again or he runs into someone he's worked with before. He's lied about his past so much, it's questionable if he even remembers it. He's also picked up the habit of using a different alias per every few people, perhaps even one if he's sure he'll never see the person again one way or another. Loyal: Once your on his side, he'll never once betray you, devoting himself fully. He will do what you wish, if it's beneficial for both parties. Though, if you do something to betray his trust, all of that loyalty disappears in an instant. Be aware, he doesn't believe in second chances. You have one shot, and one alone, to make sure things don't go downhill. Secretive: He doesn't say much about himself, or his past. What he does end up saying is fully fabricated, all made up to answer annoying questions. When people he meets ask about himself he gives the same answers every time since it's become a routine. But with every lie there is a bit of truth, which makes it all the more believable. |

Weapons: They're an interesting thing to look into, especially medieval weaponry. and seeing how much it varied from what people use nowadays. Music: There almost isn't a song that Andrei can't help but like. It doesn't matter was genre, or even what language it's in, he can always find a part he likes about it. Well, usually. Acting: He did it then, and he does it now, never gets old, not at all. Whether he's doing it himself or he watches others do it, he finds it enjoyable no matter what. Chocolate: Only milk and dark, since white chocolate isn't real chocolate. He also likes trying out new kinds of chocolate, like chili pepper and Pop Rocks for example. Plays: Being an actor himself, he still loves them. They always manage to put him in a good mood. Whenever tickets are available, he always tries to see if he can get some. | Liars: He lies himself, yes, but he hates it when others lie to him. He's paid to lie, not them, so he finds no reason as to why they should try to keep stuff from him when he'll find out at some point. Intimacy in Public: Really. Why not go and find a room instead of practically eating each other's faces off on a park bench. Killjoys: They make life boring and not worth living. They need to lighten up, take a chill pill, and actually enjoy themselves for once. Bikes: All that's going to be said is that he's been hit and ran over by far too many. Love: He hates how people toss the word around like it's nothing. They use it as an excuse for doing wrong. It's sick, it's just terrible. People say that hate is a strong word, yet then they go and use it's counterpart with every breath they have. It practically has no meaning anymore. The concept of love, on the other hand, is debatable. |

Avoid Getting Hit by Cars: He's been lucky so far, and that he's grateful for. He hopes his luck doesn't run out. The last he wants is to have tire tracks on his back. Or even worse, getting trapped between a car and a wall. That would be really painful. Stop Lying: He wants to find someone he can be completely honest, if at all just be honest in general. He's tired of being someone he isn't, but he thinks it may be too late. He has to become the lie in front of other people, and it's just too much at times. If anyone were to like him, it would be with the lie and not the real him. Shine Bright Like a Star: No, not by being famous. He wants to live life how he wants to, "shining bright" for those he cares for. He knows that everyone doesn't live forever, so why should he live life half-alive? Why not burn brightly through life, risking to end up burning out? At least the people around him will remember him for his "radiance", whether it's an act or not. | Needles: They're thing, sharp, pointy, and they can go right into your skin. Just no. Even getting vaccinations are a pain for him...well, they would be if he didn't pass out at the sight of the syringes. Dying: Not what happens after death, or even being dead, but the actually process of dying. He's afraid of how it would feel, how it would happen. Then again, who isn't? Falling in Love: He's afraid of dragging that person into the lawless life. He doesn't want to have that person get hurt because of him. And most of all, he doesn't want to end up breaking their heart, or his own. He knows that it would be pretty difficult to get out of what he dug himself into, but the least he can do is try to not let it happen to someone else. |
Background |
Born and raised in Moldova, Andrei had the average life. Good parents, had friends, good grades in school, nothing out of the ordinary. Ever since he can remember, he was always interested in theatrics. He was fascinated at how someone can turn into a completely different person, not once breaking character as their act continued. While growing up, he always asked his parents to take him to whatever play was going on that weekend, whether he's seen it before or not. As he grew older, he began taking acting classes, wanting to be an actor himself. He wanted to make other feel the way he did when he was younger, amazed at the fact someone can actually believe they were their character. Upon entering his teen years, disaster struck. His mother was in a car accident and passed on her way to the hospital. It was as if his life were just beginning its life on a tragic stage. When he reached the age of 17, his father began planing to move to London. Learning English was hard, though it was needed. He picked it up more faster than his father, but only slightly. It would be needed in their new home, though they wouldn't go until he finished high school. His father figured that taking him halfway through the semester would take a toll on him. The planning slowly brought the two together, which he was grateful for. His father had distanced himself when his mother died. He was slowly regaining that normal life he once had. It was nice, he enjoyed it. Of course, that didn't last long. His life was meant to be on that stage, not merely standing by. It had to move forward with it's play, the script predetermined by the heavens and himself not knowing what would unfold until it played out. He was looking at universities in London to apply for when he heard a gunshot from down below. He rushed down and saw his father lying on the floor, gun at his feet and blood spilling from his temple. Both parents now gone, he was truly alone. He kept trying to work up his grades, trying to let the recent death not get to him too much. He moved to London like he originally planned after his second year of college, at a later date then originally intended, a bit upset that he had to leave his home. He wasn't sure if he'd ever forget them. Adjusting to the busy atmosphere of London was tough, but he was grateful his father made him learn English a few years earlier. It only took a few months before he was approached by someone. They didn't say their name, but they said a few conditions and asked if he could carry out the job. Confused about the situation he was in, he hesitantly responded no. The person left without a word, but didn't leave him alone. They knew a lot about him, more than they should have, said they would reward him handsomely. He eventually gave in and before he knew it, he had been dragged to the edge that dropped down into the abyss of crime. His job was simple, pretend to be a wealthy business owner and get a few thousand pounds out of an investor. Sounded simple enough, he just hoped he was a good enough actor to pull it off. He met up with his victim during a party, he started the conversation off with a small introduction and it went from there. He was a bit nervous at first, hesitating a bit before answering. It took a bit of time before he got the hang of it. He got the money and went to meet up with his employer. He handed the cash over and patiently awaited his payment. Once he got it, he pulled the trigger and watch them fall to the ground. He had already put so much effort into his new life, he didn't want anyone around who knew the old him. His life was now on a new act, continuing that play of its. How it would end, only time could tell. From then to now, he still works as a con artist, though now he's a lacky of a wonderful woman. He won't take up a job without her consent. He let's her go around and do what she wishes, though he keeps a close eye on her in case something bad were to happen. He was grateful that she was his boss over the other lawless that roam this city. And now is where the summary of his life ends, though the play itself no where near ending. What other characters will come play a role? How many more acts are left? Will there be another tragic scene or two? That's all guess work until the time comes for it to be revealed. But until then, just sit back and enjoy the show until those red curtains fall. |

"Tch... There you go, talking all high and mighty again. I know you're very skilled, I know that you like to think that the rules don't apply to you, I know you hate promises. Likewise, you know I'm a liar, you know that I want what's best for you, and you know that I will sacrifice myself for your well being. What good would that do if I lose my life for you, only for you to lose your own life because of being reckless? Yes, I know life is unpredictable, and I know you do things how you want to do it and the way you do it. Hooray! Good for you! Your plan worked despite how dangerous it was in the first place! Like you said, no one is safe. You kill people, I kill people from time to time, but what if your plan causes someone close to you to die? What then? Will you sit in front of me like you are right now, and act the same way? Telling me that death finds you regardless, that you're more skilled than everyone, and that you did everything the way you did and their death was just meant to happen? Will you try to tell me that you weren't wrong, or will then would you finally understand the consequence your actions have?" he asked, making his way to the door. He didn't know how much of this he could put up with. He put his hand on the doorknob, glancing back at Nicoleta. "...I know you're The Lynx, who in the underworld doesn't know the name? And they know that Lynx has a shadow, and that where she goes he's sure to be around somewhere. Just keep in mind that if you live, it doesn't mean that I will... That's why I want you to be careful, because who else will look out after you if I were gone?" With that, he opened the door and walked out, only to close it gently behind him. Well, while he was still here, he could at least get something to eat before heading out. |
