why can't you be a good boy | | IN THE DARK STREETS OF LONDON, THEY ROAM | The city is alive with a vibrant history, the boats on the River Thames, tourists everywhere, royal pride, and lost hopes and dreams. People of all kinds converge into one unit here in London. The students and the hipsters, the showgirls and the tourists, the dreamers and the professionals. And of course... the criminals. The lawless, disturbing the peace and inhabiting the dark underbelly of London. It becomes a problem when they rise to the beautiful silver lace to paint it red. | THEY LAY DOWN THEIR LIVES TO PROTECT HER | The Agents of the MI6 are there to protect her. Protect London, protect Britannia, protect the world. They are the intelligence service of the United Kingdom. They are a special kind of soldier that end your wars before they start, who hold their gun not to kill, but to get to their goal. Their agendas are unknown, their identities changing by the day. They thrive and survive on unpredictability and fear losing their own true identity. But all for the country. | THEY WALK AMONG YOU. YOU AMONG THEM. | What will you be doing in London? A variety of people inhabit the city, explore it, treasure it, vandalize it, protect it... what is your story in London? | and die |

❖ And so, the story begins... Once upon a time, there was a princess. She held a ball in her kingdom, and all other royals of the other kingdoms far and wide would come. They marvelled at her crystal castle and her kingdom but most of all... they marvelled at her diadem. They covetted her diadem and wanted to take it, but she couldn't just give it to them. After all, it gave her power over the kingdom and made it as prosperous as it was. So eventually, she had to go to an underground city and keep the diadem safe underground. Protected with the Sword of the Lion, she left the diadem underground and it would be protected by a kindly Dragon. As a result, she lost a lot of the power she had, but retained a lot of it with the respect of her people in the casting of a new crown. Her kingdom soon became almost normal and not as magical as before compared to the other kingdoms, losing its luster as time continued and blood was shed. However, once the princess died, no one in the kingdom remebered where the Diadem that had given its kingdom the greatest power went. Only the purest of hearts could not be lost in the dark like the princess. Whoever would find the Diadem and wear it would be able to return the kingdom to its former glory, above all. They would rule even more Kingdoms, they would even be able to raise the kingdom to the sky. But of course, you need to be purest of heart... many have tried and failed. ❖ Is there truth to this... This English tale appears to have been written during the Victorian Era, almost like a propaganda piece. It is apparent that it was a tool used to keep the secret to the child's level, where a child would be able to repeat the tale, but not know the meaning. This is quite similar to the technique used in the song "Ring Around a Rosie". With some analysis, the "princess" was Queen Victoria and the Sword of the Lion represents England. But other than that, people only speculate the rest of the symbology, as the formulation of this tale appears to be a guarded secret. Even the Prime Minister doesn't know about the true meaning of this tale. Why does this even matter? Because people do believe that the Diadem exists. Madmen and scholars alike have been searching for the Diadem. It isn't apparent whether it really is "underground" or if it were referring to the gnarliest parts of London. They do believe the Diadem does hold definite power... it is said that the Diadem could hand you the throne of England and rebuild the British Empire. It all depends on which angle you take it. It is said that even Government Officials believe in this... but who's to say? |
