It wasn't often Lukas found himself out in one of the shopping street, nor on the shopping malls. He wasn't the most social fly to go there and get his shopping done, he usually, with the help of Eirík, ordered the clothes online instead, meaning he didn't have to deal with annoying people and busy streets where he would usually get squeezed or bumped into at least ten times on a ten meter long street. And the stores here might not have the clothes he liked either, as he's quite picky about his fashion, always having to look good and proper, no matter where and why.
So once again, why was he there, on Sloane Street? It wasn't as busy as it could have been, he made sure to be there on a time where it wasn't too much people so he could actually breathe and get his shopping done without being arrested for attempted murder, or letting the mental institution get after him with their white jacket because he lost his mind and kidnapped someone and tried to use them to get everyone to leave the street... No, not a good idea, so that's why he was here on a decent time, on a decent day, where the tourists where also very few, meaning he got space and was relaxed. He just needed some new underwear, and the bookstore that was by the end of the street to pick up a new book that had just been released about Nordic mythology, and a book his brother wanted him to pick up while he was there, and whom was he to deny his brother such a wish?
As he was inside the mall where the clothing store was selling his favourite kind of underwear, just picked up the goods and was sitting down to relax for a moment on a bench, leaned back as he took a deep breath while letting his eyes rest on the people that passed him with little interest. He could see how people greeted each other on both professional, and non-professional way. A hug there, a kiss on the cheek, or a simple wave before they walked off together, or in different directions. It was kinda amusing to observe people, how unlike everyone was, and how they handled different situations. Thanks to this being a 'finer' street with finer stores, sometimes one could see some very lost tourists or just school kids wandering around, it was quite amusing if you asked Lukas.
What he did not expect thou, was when a girl walked up to him. He couldn't say that she was ugly, rather the opposite, she was indeed very pretty. Feeling how his mouth became dry as she smiled at him and showed of some white, perfect teeth when he finally noticed her. "Hello! I couldn't help but not notice you sitting here, are you alone or waiting for someone?"
And this was where Lukas, the smooth bastard he was, didn't know what to reply, he was not the type that was quick to reply, unless it was on some stupid comment, but beautiful people speaking to him? "Uh.. I'm alone." He tried, as the girls smile just became bigger as he closed in instead. "Oh, that's good! No I didn't mean it like that, rather that it's good for me!" A sweet laughter as she slightly tilted her head so her blonde straight hair fell down a bit. "I was wondering if you wanted to do something later, just you and I! You can take it as a date or a friendly get-to-know each other."
Okay, now Lukas was really lost at words, as he simply clicked with his tongue, what would one reply to that? Of course he wanted to, but he was dumbstruck and just looked at her with his usual emotionless face, and her smile faltered as she took it the wrong way. "Oh.. I'm sorry to have bothered you, I just thought you looked like a nice guy.. I'm sorry again if I offended you, and I hope you have a nice day!" And then she hurried away, and Lukas blinked a couple of times. What the..? Had his usual expression scared her away? Of course it had, he was silent while looking at her with it, she must really had mistaken his expression. A low sigh as he rubbed his face slowly as he tried to gather himself, this was usually how it was whenever he tried to gain friends or found someone attractive, he either scared them away, found out they where annoying, or he didn't have the courage nor skills to actually hit on them.
Sitting there on the bench, earning himself some whispers and odd glances and glares after that. Not that he did bother about the other people, he just felt so ashamed of himself and his social competence. He was 25 for crying out loud, and yet he didn't even know how to engage in a conversation with someone who was attractive and obviously flirting with him, he was ashamed of himself.. And strangely enough, he didn't care, but at the same time, he did. But it wasn't much he could do about it, so instead he just straighten his back and looked ahead again, his uncaring expression as always over his face, it was so much easier to make a formula correct than hit on people..
[OOC; there we go! I hope it's good enough for ya Mona, and I'm too lazy to fix a design right now ;; If there is any ? or questions, feel free to shoot 'em at me!]
