terima kasih banyak! Ada was never the one who received orders - except from her grandparents, of course. She used to give orders, and certainly she never expected herself in the shoes of those who always do her orders. Although she was only doing part time job, the manager had asked her to clean the toilets, carry supplies from the storage to the display racks, clean the floor and dealing with noisy kids who threw their food to the floor Ada just cleaned. It was good she got a lot of patience, but before her shift ended she already feel really tired. The manager didn't even let her brought her homework to the store, so she had to cut her sleeping time in order to finish them. The pay was good enough and that was the only reason she didn't switch to another job - moreover, she felt other jobs were as tiring as this one and the young woman believed she would be adapted to the job soon. But nope, until her last day of work Ada only felt regret because she had applied for it. Ada needed more time for her school since it's her main priority. The only thing that filled her mind now was her latest assignment about uranium isotopes, which cheered her up a bit although she had to clean ice cream stains on one of the aisle. After she made sure the floor was squeaky clean, Ada returned the mop and walked to the cashier, replacing the previous one who just went for bathroom break. The Indonesian glanced to the clock. Great, she thought whilst adjusting her ponytail hair, I can go home in ten minutes... maybe I can buy dinner before I reach the dorm. She quickly served a customer who had been waiting there before greeting the next one.

He was at the convenience store on more of a whim than an actual need. He had nothing he had to buy, it was more like he was hiding out for a bit before actually going to his flat. It wasn't uncommon for paparazzi to be on his trail every now and then, it was just a precaution. He would probably have to move if they found out where his "home away from home" was. The last thing he wanted was a crowd of camera-wielding journalists at his door. He had enough of that at Knightsbridge. That's why he chose Milford Flats instead of Cromwell Tower. Sure, he could afford the latter of the two, but it didn't mean he wanted to live there. It seemed nice, yeah, but already living in a very high-class neighborhood was enough for him, he didn't want his apartment to be "high-class" either.
'Ah, I shouldn't stay too long here. Perhaps a few minutes at most, no more than six or seven. Any more than that would come off strange...unless they think I am really bad at trying to find something in specific. There isn't much to assume about a man who spends around five minutes in a store doing nothing but look around, yeah? Well, unless they think I'm planning to rob them or running from the police...' He would have liked to stay a bit longer, but what could he really do? There was chatting with someone, but seeing as there weren't many people who seemed open for a conversation, that option seemed pretty unlikely. Well, unless the cashier wanted to take time out of their day to talk to a costumer instead of doing their job. Of course, it depends on whether said cashier was either hardworking or looking for a distraction.
He glanced over to see who was currently in charge of the register. 'She might be on the more social side. Seems to be tolerable as well-- Wait a second... No, that can't be her, I have to be mistaken. Surely that can't be her.' He looked around before returning his gaze. There was no mistaking it, it just had to be her. No way someone could look so much like another person, excluding family resemblance or doppelgangers. He made his way over to the register after the customer left. "...I'm sorry, I know this is sudden, but do I know you?" he asked. He couldn't get over how much she looked like someone he knew.

terima kasih banyak! One last customer and I'm free from this job. Sadly her thought quickly vanished when her eyes landed to the young man standing close to the cashier. He was definitely European: pale skin, blond hair, colored eyes... although there was something familiar about him. Ada was sure she had seen him somewhere, wearing an expensive suit and talking about trade and business. What was the company's name? Maximantics? She could feel her eyes widened in a sudden realization. It was Lukas Bondevik. The Norwegian looked a bit older than the last time they met... few years ago, maybe? Ada barely remember it. They hadn't talked much at those parties but she did remember his face - wait, no. That was impossible, there was no way someone as rich as the heir of Maximantics would go shopping at the convenience store. This man's appearance just happened to resemble him. Europeans are looked similar to each other after all. Then he spoke. Oh shit. Well, how many Indonesians - or South-East Asians - he had seen in London anyway? "I believe this is the first time we meet each other, sir," Ada answered politely, trying her best to not making eye contact with the Lukas-look-alike. She saw both of his hands weren't holding anything from the store. "Um, can I help you?" Ada immediately changed the topic, hoping the man would forget his earlier question. But if he was really Lukas Bondevik... wouldn't that be rude to pretend they never know each other before? The young woman didn't mind reconnecting with an old acquaintance, but she was at work - her last eight minutes of work - and she surely didn't expect someone from the high-class would find her doing a commoner's job. Still, she didn't know how to answer if he asked what she was doing here.

"I believe this is the first time we meet each other, sir." He didn't quite believe what the other had said. Why else would she look so familiar to him? He had to know her. He was sure he hadn't just passed her by on the street, never has he heard of anyone simply remembering a face of someone passing on the street at any point in their lives before seeing that person again...if that made any sense. It made complete sense to him, well at the current moment at least. 'She's hiding something from me, it's written clearly on her expression... Well, somewhat clearly. It might help if I can get a name out of her. It would be odd if I simply ask, since she might get the wrong impression and might think I'm trying to hit on her. She is fairly pretty, that I would admit. Not my type, but still fairly pretty. Enough of that, I need to remember a name. I've got to know her somehow...'
His eyes scanned her face. "Um, can I help you?" He stopped his gaze on her eyes, not daring to break eye contact, or what little of it there was, since it could help figure out who this girl was. Her eyes did seem familiar as well, they were very beautiful eyes. "...May I ask your name?" As the saying goes, it can't hurt to ask. What could he possibly lose if she refused?... Well, the chance at finding out who this girl is for starters. "That is, if you are comfortable with sharing it," he added, not wanting to seem too demanding for such a simple thing as a name. It wasn't as if he needed to know with every fiber of his being, he was just curious, nothing more and nothing less. That being said, he would still really like to know it.

terima kasih banyak! At this point, Ada was sure that he was indeed Lukas Bondevik, not just some random guy trying to flirt with her. By telling him her name, that means she also had to prepare explaining why she's working at the convenience store. Ada tugged her hair nervously. She never guessed she had to do it so soon; to a person from the high class nonetheless. So she looked at him again and said, "my name is A--"Right at the moment, someone entered the store; another part-timer whose shift was right after hers. She saw Ada at the register and waved at her. "Adania, hello!" then she disappeared to the back room. Since her voice was rather loud, it was certain that Lukas had heard her too. Ada was rather glad she saved her from introducing herself to him. The Indonesian student closed her eyes and sighing. "I'm Adania, yes. Adania Notonegoro." Well, the cat's out from the bag now. "I really didn't expect meeting you here..." she lowered her tone so no one but him would hear her next words, "...Mr. Bondevik."From her peripheral vision, Ada could see the girl from earlier emerged from the storage, already in uniform. She took it as a cue to end her shift and change. "I know that this... might be confusing to you. But since my shift just ended, maybe we can talk outside?" she stepped aside, letting the girl took her place behind the register. Ada nodded to Lukas before going to the back room to change. She was somewhat unsure about how she would tell the whole thing to him. On the other hand, Ada was also curious about him; how he had been doing after the last time they met. Ten minutes later, she left the store through a different exit, already changed into her casual attire. Ada headed to the front entrance, hoping their conversation would be brief and not awkward.
