| [cs=3] Wise: He is thoughtful and listens to anyone and everyone's predicament, even giving them a piece of advice/his mind because he feel the need for people to be heard. He thinks deep about the situation and tries to offer the best solution there is, even resorted to lying if being pushed to. He rarely expresses his opinion on political matters though, simply because he hates politics. Smart: He is naturally gifted with wits that most highly educated scholars and professors envy. He invents all kinds of things: from your ordinary fridge that serves as a teleport to a perfume spray that emits poisonous gas. Though his true purpose of inventing is to invent something that can teleport him to 2D world and vice versa, but that shall remain a secret with him. The secret behind his intelligence is because he studied day and night (though making sure that he has time for his anime) to become the person he is now. Hardworking: He's willing to work overtime if the needed equipment is required as soon as possible, to the extend of sleepless nights. He's the kind of guy who you will see that comes first early in the morning and goes home last late at night. Since he doesn't have a family to take care off and lives alone (minus Pochi the dog and Tama the cat), he merely sees his home as a place to sleep in before going back to work the next day. Obedient: Give him anything to do and he'll do it, even when it's against his will (except for Lawless, he'll never heed to them). Born and raised in an Asian country where obedience to your superiors and elders is a must, he asks little or no question to the assignment he received. Calm and Composed: Usually seen as quiet and poker-faced, he doesn't easily falter when facing a life or death crisis. Even a knife to the throat won't deter him from his ethics. Willing to die than heeding the Lawless, as long as no other hostages involved. Creative: Great at drawing and always finding a time to spare to draw, his drawings that are not linked with the inventions his working on are hidden between the collection of drawing books, on his bookshelf, in his lab. He usually draws portraits, his waifu, scenery, you name it. He also appreciates all works of art, modern or classic. Childish: He has his childish times in contrast to his always serious manner. He usually becomes playful when it involves his interests: mainly anime and manga. He lets no one interrupts him especially when it involves his time with his anime. Though he doesn't usually talk about it because he mainly finds them an embarrassing topic to talk about, especially with people his age. Socially restraint: He doesn't really talk to people much, keeping mostly his problems to himself. He grew up practically alone, since his uncle was mostly away on official duty and his aunty works as a night shift cleaner at a company. He doesn't get along with people his age when he was young because of his interests in anime; "otakus" are weirdo, and therefore, should be kept distance from, or so they say. When being invited for the company's social gathering, he merely comes for the sake of not wanting to look rude. Innocent and at the same time, perverted: He possesses a large amount of perverted manga and anime, video games which is kept hidden among his normal collection. But when he's preached about sex, he flusters and will ask to change the subject. Secretive: He mostly keeps his opinions to himself when not needed and he rarely talks about himself with his colleagues. They find him hard to decipher because of the lack of words exchanged between them. Work-oriented: His life is only revolves around his work (other than his waifu and food). He rarely thinks about women and settling down. Most of his discussed topics are about work and doesn't go out much if it'll interfere with his work. | ||

Food: Especially slated salmon. A work-oriented man, he merely works to get his hands on money so he could afford to feed himself. Anime and Manga: Has a waifu on a portable game console. Has a large collection of anime DVDs, 3 bookshelves full of manga and doujinshis. Uses 1/3 of his hard earned wage on manga and anime. Japanese tradition: From flower arranging to tea ceremony, he knows them all. He mostly learn about them in the internet, practising them whenever his work is done. Because of the time-constraint his job offers, he couldn't take official classes for them. Soft and fluffy animals: He's vulnerable to all things cute, especially animals. He currently owns a dog and a cat and wanted to get a bunny and a hamster but couldn't because he doesn't have the time to care for them. Being alone: It's his idea of relaxation. Even when inventing stuff is also "being alone", being alone without work gives him the pleasure of getting into a new anime series. | Incompetent people: He really hates it when people got the job simply because they have connections; since he got his with his effort. He refuses to work with this kind of people. Wasting time: "Time is money, and money is food." He uses his free time to whether to think about a new invention, or watching animes, playing video games and such or making doujinshis of his own. He sees "spending time with people" as a waste of time so therefore rarely went out with them. Failing: He doesn't tolerate failure, and if people got hurt while using his inventions (in beta-testing), he'll blame himself and started to figure out the ways of fixing the fault. Public Display Affection: He finds hugging and holding hands in public embarrassing (well, primarily because he's never into real relationships before). He never makes the first move just because he's afraid of what the other will think, so don't count on him being romantic openly in public. Crowd: As he's always alone, so he hates it if he's going out in big groups (5 or more people). He felt left out just because he doesn't have the guts to start the conversation. Rudeness: He's always speaks politely (business-like) so he expects the same from you. He rarely expresses his disdain if being talked to rudely, but expect short replies when you do. | Increasing living expenses: He couldn't imagine if the prices of food (especially fish) goes up, because, that means he'd have to ration some portion of his money for DVDs to food. Being second best: He had always struggle to firmly secure his position as No.1 student in his school, his college and among his colleagues. He secretly seeks for attention by being the first best because he never gets enough attention when he was living with his family. Even so, he keeps his profile low, just to appear modest. Cockroaches: Just a sight of those abominations would send a shiver down his spine. He'd even go as far as to cry when he spots a cockroach whether in his lab or his home. |

| [cs=3] Kiku grew up alone, practically all his life. He lost his parents when he was 6 in a car accident, on Christmas Eve, just 2 minutes before Christmas. It all happened so fast. He could only remember the car skidded over, with his mom held him tightly in his arms. Since then he had been taken care by his uncle on his mother's side. His uncle works as a police officer while his aunty a night shift cleaner at a company. They had a son with them, 10 years older than Kiku. He never knew his uncle much, except that he's always away on official duty. He deliberately distanced himself from the family, feeling like an intruder. Not wanting to feel like a freeloader towards them, he studies hard to make the family proud of him. The books he held eventually became so worn out that even superglue couldn't fix them anymore. Sure enough, the boy was placed 1st among his schoolmates. He landed a government scholarship and continued his studies at Oxford, thus improving his English (he knows to differentiate the pronunciation of "l" and "r"). This continues on until he graduated college. There are times when he felt that studying will make him crazy, so at the age of 11, he found an interest that changed his life; 2D world. Oh God, the girls there are perfect; the curves, the smile, that big eyes, that cute personality, he couldn't tear his eyes away from them. The girl that captured his heart was Yayoi Yukino, from Queen Millennia. Well, long story short she was his first waifu. Well, what do you expect, anyone who got an interest in anime was quickly sniffed out, and he was no exception. His "friends" abandoned him, not wanting to have anything to do with him. He just shrugged, unaffected by the incident. He continued his years in school keeping minimum contact with other people. Other than his interests in anime, he also loves Japanese tradition, always finding the time to practise the art of tea ceremony and flower arranging in his room. He frequently sports a yukata, even during office hours and wears a hanten during winter (if it's really cold then an overcoat will suffice). His youthful looks deceives everyone, much to his chagrin. After graduated from college at the age of 24 (the scholarship doesn't bind him with his government), he was scouted by many companies, primarily because of his excellent performance and and attitude. He rejected them all and applied for a job at Maximantics, which he get, but there's a catch: he'd have to transfer to London to get the job. He couldn't care less, so he quickly hop on a flight to London the next day. He's currently an inventor at Maximantics for 13 years now (and counting), inventing stuff for them (and secretly devised a 2D world teleporter on his own). |
