A giant skyscraper that has forty of its floors dedicated to the Marriott Hotel with several suites for the rich. The rest are residential apartments for those who likes to see the docks and not to mention, the social extremes Canary Wharf has to offer. However, the skyscraper is quite a beauty with its walls of glass and steel.

Linh’s head throbbed from her entire experience at the physiatrists that morning. In fact, the only reasonable remedy for feeling better was to step out for a little undercover investigation. She let out a relieved sigh as she sat by her window with a cup of tea, picturing the evening and how much better it would be if she just found out any small bit of information that could turn her in the right direction. The past few weeks had been slow—mainly consisting of her working her cover job at the book store—and that simply did not set well with her.
She had gotten a tip not long ago about odd company that happened to meet every so often in the restaurant of the Marriott. Linh usually didn’t waste time with ‘odd company’ but apparently these men had records and they were the exact types she needed to find more about. Linh dug through her closet for what few formal outfits she had hidden away for undercover missions such as this. She pulled out a yellow aodai her mother had sent to her for her birthday and sighed, looking it over. It would get her in but it was completely void of sleeves and Linh was not very comfortable with that aspect. She looked over her shoulders at her reflection in her mirror and, from what she could see, her burn scars weren’t visible. Hopefully the rest of the evening would turn out like she hopped. Linh quickly threw on an overcoat and headed out the door of her apartment.
Showing no response at all to the grandeur of the hotel, Linh handed her coat to the man at the door, scanning her eyes across the lobby. Not far off at the check-in, a few employees were all hurrying about, all obviously distressed over something. She followed their eyes back into the lobby and noticed some sort of commotion off in the distance. “Did I come in at a bad time?” she asked the man with her coat in her usual meekness, wondering just how the afternoon might play out.

MOD - BLAKE DELACRUZ "A bad time? How about all the time?"Blake crossed his arms in repose and pursed his lips. "You're here for a room, right? I apologize about... a guest of ours. But I do hope you can enjoy your stay at the Quay regardless of that. I swear our service is good," Blake said. He winced as he felt a wave of distress and frustration permeate the lobby. Really, you try being nice, and suddenly... BAM. You have yourself a bad time. Unfortunately, Blake won't be quitting his job any time soon.
